Unexpected, sad news. I thought he was gonna be one of the rare former champs to live a very long healthy age. R.I.P.

      - -Marv one of the Greatest of the Greats deserves better than the scavengers who have no honor to fight the great fight dragging him into politically expedient experimental viruses birthed in the Great Corona Virus Panic of 2020. A still healthy Hank Aaron died almost immediately after a vac with little explanation. We have ample Marv and Hank stats to prove their excellence, but these multiple experimental vacs stats are only known by insiders. Great is still Great, so good luck navigating our shared era of unparalleled political deceit global threats brought about by "We the People."

That is just too young! He had a crisis that is very sad... Bad news for sure.

RIp Champ to me you personified an archetype... From Marciano down, and I believe Sullivan was also of that New England stock. Tough men, unrelenting in their pursuit of winning, waging wars in the ring... Sullivan Marciano and Hagler, a trifecta that can never be replaced in the Sweet science. Marvin was the last of that breed... and he left us too early.

I have deleted some political, conspirational posts that simply does not belong in this thread.

Is that right, that makes sense that those fighters with that unique mentality came from the same place. If you got any more info to share on that please do.

I've seen many warriors in the boxing ring, the ones with the least quit and biggest winner mentality I've seen were Hagler, Holyfield, Frazier, Marciano and many others but I think those guys really stood out imo.

A fine piece on Hagler here:

BBC boxing correspondent Mike Costello looks back on the career of Marvin Hagler, who has died aged 66.

Almost felt like crying. I watch Hagler videos all the time before training.

You cannot speak freely around here because a halfwit like Battling Nelson says no. A pure halfwit.
