Tyson, more accurate, stronger, and faster.

Marciano never lost so you try to pick out difficult fights that he had, its funny. "Look, Rocky knocked this guy out but it took too many punches and the guy lasted a few rounds longer than expected. Rocky won but had some trouble!" What fighter doesn't have trouble on occasion? Even on his off nights, Rocky still won.
There was a huge age difference between the two in their second to last fights. Didn't Marciano retire at 32 or somewhere around there? If so, that's the only reason why he remained undefeated. I'm sure he would have told you that. All fighters were beat when they stayed too long. Marciano was probably around Tyson's age when he fought Holyfield in this fight, now that the tables have been turned, Marciano has an excuse of being old when Tyson was supposedly still in his prime. Ha ha ha ha ha. You guys are just lame. Try to be consistent with your generalizations. LOL

What are you talking about now? You're stating the only reason Marciano retired undefeated was because he quit at 32 or near it. Tyson got knocked out in his early 20's. Then again he got stopped by Holyfield later on. You can say he was past his prime against Douglas all you want, but its implied in that post of yours that 32 is young.

who really cares? we all know the Tyson story, he was mislead and made horrible decisions in his life. But pit the Tyson that weighed 217 lbs in Prime shape w/ rooney against Marciano and you have a very fast KO. You keep bringing up lame excuses like " buster Douglas beat him" If you honestly think Tyson was at his best fighting buster Douglas than you are more naive that I thought.

Your problem is as it is has always been, subjective is not in your vocabulary. You present things as statement of fact rather than opinion.

Blindness is not a virtue, rather a sign of a questionable knowledge base.

And if your pal thinks Marciano against ****ell is a good showing of the Rock's abilities, hes rather naive as well.
I watched Tyson today against Holmes and Berbick; I don't really see that version beating Marciano either.

It's funny how you haters don't recognize the downfall of Mike Tyson, but true experts do. How convenient that is to state your cases. LOL

It's not at all implied that 32 is young in my post. It's pointed out that there is a difference between 32 and 38. For certain fighters with styles like Tyson and Marciano, 32 was getting old and about time to hang up the gloves. I give Marciano credit for retiring when he did. Other fighters that aren't so dependent on the physicalities to perform good can extend their careers into their later years succesfully. Holmes is a great example.

a 38 year old Holmes would wipe the floor vs any age Marciano, so yea were still talking an early KO for Tyson, considering he took Holmes down in 4.

You guys are putting on a fine display of the exact reasons most people don't take alot of Tyson fans seriously when it comes to debating the sport of boxing.
