You mean the same Buster Mathis jr that was KOd the next year by Lou Saverese
Savarese was 35-0, Tyson had him KTFO in the first round also.

but in comparison, Marciano has way, way to many short coming's to beat Tyson.

Tyson was 30, yes, old as dirt, but Holyfield was 34 for their first fight. Younger Holyfield does the same **** to a younger Tyson.

Like Marciano ever beat anyone any good. All those so called greats were nothing more than washed up over inflated Light heavies. Marciano never knocked anyone out like Mike did, and if he did it wasn't very often. Marciano was very good, don't get me wrong but he wasn't a true heavyweight. He was one of the baddest cruiserweights that ever lived but I don't know if he could have even beaten Holyfield at cruiser. Put it in perspective, Marciano was very unskilled, small, cute, and would have been knocked out quick. Tyson was more of a fighter at 19 then Marciano ever was. Tyson would have finished Marcianos opposition much faster. No doubt.

People forget that before Tyson fight that Holyfield looked like a shot fighter in 3rd Bowe fight thats why he was a major underdog.

Tyson hadn't been active in 4 years and had a total of less than 8 rounds when he met Holyfield. You really are ignorant. LOL

Exactly, I don't think they would have to be a great infighter. Tyson liked to create distance so he could launch his bombs, his most effective weapons. Someone that crowds him, gets in his face and isn't intimidated.

Gee, people seem to be giving Mayweather a lot of credit for beating a De La Hoya with one fight in 3 years against a washed up Mayorga, had lost 2 of his last 4, and was 34 years old, 4 years older than Tyson.

I thought that would have impressed you, talking about stats and all...

I wouldn't doubt that if Tyson were in Marciano's division he would probably be 50-0 with all first round knockouts.
