horus is right. this image of floyd being a ducker is some carefully crafted bob arum bullsh**. looking back, before every floyd fight, there was never this call of, "why is he fighting him instead of him" every opponent that floyd fought, the media as well as many of the fans thought "this guy has a chance" it's only after the fight, and floyd outclasses the guy ridiculously that people say, "why doesn't he fight so and so?" inevitably, the same thing happens to so and so. what people don't understand is how good this guy floyd actually is. dudes don't even win rounds against him, let alone fights. pac man has abseolutely no chance, roach and arum know it. shane has a chance but he's probably going to leave the ring swollen faced and frustrated like all the rest. smell the coffee people.

surprisingly, if you look at the fight, COTTO outboxed shane. his footwork and defense were what allowed him to out point shane. if cotto outboxes shane, floyd gives him a lesson
i think both fighters need each other equally and for sure floyd is the bigger draw, brings in more paperview sales and should be in the driver’s seat but let’s think about this rationally folks all bias aside. If a floyd vs pac clash of the titans fight doesn’t get made then which other fighter out there meets floyd’s criteria of star power and financial incentive for him to get in the ring with? None if you realistically think about it.
Pac on the other hand has options in the arum stable. Sure i wouldn’t care for a pac vs margorito, or pac vs cotto ii or pac vs foreman but they are realistic possibilities and they sure can’t be worse than pac vs clottey. All these fights can be made easily being that they are all arum’s fighters and will get made if floyd vs pac doesn’t happen. Floyd on the other hand wouldn’t have a viable dance partner that meets his criteria of star power and financial incentive.
Pac , arum and roach can and will walk away and go to the other options, however i don’t see floyd with anyone viable to replace pac with that meets his standards. What do you guys think?

I'll admit that im a pac man fan through and through and i really do think that manny has a good chance to beat floyd. Even though floyd will have the better chance to beat manny than the other way around. Floyd is just a tought customer.

Pacquiao has hundreds of millions in the bank. I mean 40 million isn't really a big deal to him, it's not life changing money for him, he's got enough already and can easily make money from other things with just his name alone. I know it's alot of money to us guys here well most but it's really not alot for a man with hundreds of millions in the bank already, he doesn't need it.. Us guys here look at 40 million as a huge amount but think about it, for a guy like pacquiao he will never be short of money, it's really not an issue for him looking at it from pacquiao's perspective, it seems many are acting like it's life changing money for him it's NOT.
Pacquiao just doesn't want Mayweather to walk all over him and call the shots, i cant really blame the guy. I certainly wouldn't like to get walked all over without having getting your own say on the matter, it's just human nature not to get bossed around.
