we seen floyd get hurt badly last night and has been hurt previously by two southpaws.. but all of this happened in the first couple of rounds as floyd is still figuring out and adjusting to his opponent. now the first couple of rounds vs pac are going to be very dangerous for floyd as he as to adjust to pac's incredible hand speed,in and out movements etc. at the end i think once this fight gets passed round 5 floyd takes it.
but i still see this as a 50/50 fight with the edge going to mayweather.
you can't negotiate a fight in good faith with a fighter, who is A) suing you, B) not agreeing to proper blood testing, and C) still hides behind the media, his promoter, and naive fans.
floydie needs to grow some balls
 @ this thread. Seriously, once Pacquiao gets in the ring with Floyd the flame war ends. Pacquiao may very well get himself stopped inside of 5 rounds if not careful. Yet, I doubt it will happen because you can't negotiate a fight in good faith with a fighter, who is A) suing you, B) not agreeing to proper blood testing, and C) still hides behind the media, his promoter, and naive fans.
But guess what its ok, because Shane Mosley played everyone Saturday night, especially Pacquiao and Roach knew it...
You see he got the money fight he wanted 2 yrs ago and didn't look the worse for ware afterwards, but most importantly he revealed Pacquiao's unchangeable flaws. He gave Mayweather and any fighter with great skill a reeeaaalll good look @ those flaws. See, a fighter can only get by on speed and power for so long until those attributes are nullified. Pacquiao reminds me of Tyson before Lewis got a hold of him, and when true skill steps up to the plate, It becomes a whole different ballgame.
if pacquiao was "exposed" as you said, this should be the perfect time for floyd to step up to the plate... so where is floyd?... he's just chillin', right?...
Lets keep it real. Pac's dominating wins over Oscar and his 1 punch KO of Hatton is what started the whole Floyd demanding drug test.
Listen to his uncle Roger. Aint no way you can start at 105 and be knocking out guys at 147. Roger fed that FEAR to Floyd and he rolled with it.
Guys Floyd had tough fights with....Pac made them look like weak sparring partners that Roach kicked out the gym for not being competetive.
Floyd had some problems with Zab Judah and your saying he might stop Manny inside 5. Pac beats Judah easier than Floyd beat em just like Pac beat Oscar, Hatton and Shane easier.
are you kidding? every round till the 12th he'll be in serious danger, i dont think anyone without an iron chin can beat pacquiao
he's gonna catch you, and catch you big, many times
If Floyd could shut down Shane Mosley's offense and Juan Marquez's offense then it's a safe bet to say Floyd will shut Manny's offense down as well.
Pac is better offensively than both fighters, but to make sure we need the fight to happen...
although it may be another boring fight, we really dont know who the winner will be and could only speculate...
i wanted to bump this thread since pac's fight was last week.
before i had the pac-may fight a 50-50 fight with the edge going to mayweather.. now am not so sure about that. from what i seen last week, what pac did to mosley was pretty shocking. not only did he turn him into a straight up b!tch but he also dropped him and hurt him like never before.
there's a video of chop chop corley recently posted and i agree with everything he says about a fight between pac and floyd. after seeing last weeks fight i have changed my opinion on who i think will win. i believe once floyd feels that power he will go in full retreat mode like mosley did but my only question is will floyd take chances and open up or will he go out mosley style.. because if he does i see manny winning a clear UD.
i just wanted to see what you guys think, if you have changed your opinion on this fight based on what we seen last week.
Pac is not Mosley that gasp for air after 4th round. Pac would be same power and speed from round 1 to round 12 !!! Can Flyod handle all that pressure? I know one thing for sure, Flyod wont, cant go toe to toe against Pac.
wow! if only pac had as much confidence in himself as you do, because if you listen to pac, he doesn't want it with floyd. read between the lines, pac, roach, arum, none these guys have ever wanted this fight. trust me, this will be embarassing if they ever fight. pac has no where near the skill level to compete with floyd. hatton, cotto, hoya, all shot, burnt out fighters. floyd will make this dude look sub novice. watch!!!!!!
Anybody that knows anything about boxing knows that if you don't have a jab you will never be able to hit pbfloyd with any regularity. Marquez best punch is the lead hand right and it killed manny. Floyd's lead hand right is faster and stronger than marquez. Combine with floyd's defensive skills that fight want even be close.
didn't you say Floyd would stop Shane too?
Mayweather would run and potshot more against Pac. If someone's getting knocked down i think it's Floyd in the early rounds.
i bet u thought he was gonna do the same vs shane huh
Funny, I see people saying "pac is not shane, he wont tire".. Before the fight with floyd who talked about shane as being a fighter who tires???? Maybe its something floyd is doing
Haha pacquiao wont gas like Mosley you must be kiddin. He's not going to let Floyd off the hook after 5 rounds, zero chance of that happening. Pacquiao keeps coming for 12 straight rounds. I agree the first 5 are extremely dangerous for Mayweather if he was to get wobbled then he's in BIG trouble since pacquiao will still be full of beans, pacquiao is one of the greatest finishers once he smells blood he pretty much gets you out of there.
in the 6th round grandpa mosley cant even go back to his stool. how come pbf cant capitalize on that considering he has some good shots.
lets be honest pbf can beat pac but not by ko. be a boxing fan not a pbf fan dumb. (u goin to say excuse like burner does?)
because mosley has never been ko'd while pac has. Marquez was wobbling pac countering him
