Margarito is going to back up manny the entire fight, I don't think manny will be as effective having to run and hit. Margarito is going to keep his hands up high until he unleashes those hooks to the body or uppercuts to Manny's face. He's going to take a real beating.
Just an observation, Cotto looked so relieved after the fight was over. Margarito was still pumped up, he looked like he was having a good time. And he still had three whole rounds to batter Cotto.
I guess lederman thinks effective aggressiveness is when you go after someone and get hit just as much as you're hitting someone else. Don't really see how that's effective.
Cotto looked weak after the 9th, I think there was a chance Margarito could have hurt him and put him down. He even gave that same wink to his corner like he knew he was getting lit up.

Come on you know it was a weak stoppage, you're right Cotto was exhausted all that pressure was getting to him. And the fact that Margarito seemed happy to be in there banging it up was ****ing with his head. I think there would have been a little more closure if it would have kept going. Cotto's strategy of holding and trying to smother the punches helped out a lot this time around, but It looked like he was finally breaking down a little bit towards the end of the fight.
i would love to see margarito break cotto down again. he was inspected before the fight and everything was good. I guess you gotta respect that if not we can assume every fighter is dirty.
Pacquiao won't know what to do when he hits margarito with his best shot and he smiles and keeps on coming. Margarito is going to be way too much for him.
