#48 has damage boxing beyond repair with his huge ego, bye bye you sore loser!
nahh.. its the hugging running clinching that turned off the huuuge ppv buying casual fans. actually the only moments they got excited were during pac's moments.
If hes motivate to fight he should run out his contract and fight once, maybe twice and just forget about boxing after 2016. Hes done amazingly well in the sport and hell always be remembered as one of the greatest fighters ever, just dont go out in a bad way take a couple of money fights and enjoy.
Good riddance, take his entire fan base with him...
Come on now, brick. I know you really don't mean that. Now come here and give me a hug, bruh.

Farewell fights are usually against easy opponents. Manny could fight someone on the Brandon Rios, Chris Algieiri level again for his final outing.
thanks a lot for that.....
but is crawford for manny or froch for hopkins, really easy fights?
as stated :usually against easy opponents....but not always...but pac and hopkins may like to go out with a bang....win or lose...
anyway, thanks again for your input...just saying a fighter could chose the door he wants to get out of....
maybe you will be kind enough to define what a farewell fight is?

I agree, there would be nothing sadder than to see Manny become a stepping stone for the young up and comers out there. For some reason I don't think he will retire for another year or two. He has tax issues in the US and the Phillippines, he also pays nearly 50 % of his purses to his promoter and financial adviser, and most great fighters just don't know when to quit.
I'm hoping he retires or just comes back for a farewell fight.
a farewell fight?
not a bad idea! but it should be a fight with someone who will give the fans their money's worth....someone like cotto, lucas?

I thought he should have retired after the 2nd Bradley fight but I was wrong because he went on to get a $100+ mill payday. Hope he doesn't keep challenging the young bucks because every man needs to know his time and age will catch up with him. The public loves him and he really doesn't need to prove anything else. Fighter of the decade, given based on his fighting spirit, says enough.
