How do you know what he will do, since you just established that neither one of us can see the future, the point im making is that the people he has fought that were good opponents, people who don't like him don't give him credit for beating them, he gets shit for fighting one title and not the other. Don't try to kid yourselves guys. Floyd wouldn't have fought Margarito even if he was the linear champ. So that excuse is weak. We saw how sorry Baldomir was when he went on to lose a lop sided decision to Vernon Forrest. Forrest was the same guy that everybody thought got a gift decision against an old Quartey and went on to split fights with Sergio Mora. And we know that Mora was a guy who got handled by Margarito in sparring. No disrespect to Forrest, because he was a good fighter in his prime, but I'm just using him as the reason why Baldomir was never that great. Margarito was talking about fighting Baldomir in Tijuana. Baldo was perceived as a tune up fight for Margo after Tony got destroyed by Shane. Floyd took the path of least resistance by taking the fight with Baldomir.

Manny has definitely improved as a boxer as far as balance when throwing combinations and being more tidy with his punches, but the truth is he was never hard to hit and Cotto is gonna hit him harder than he's ever been hit before.

He's gonna wait and put together a megafight with the guy most Mayweather haters think is the best and then box circles around him. If haters really think Floyd isn't gonna get in the ring with one of these fighters they always throw in the mix when his name is mentioned they are dead wrong. When it does happen he's gonna remain undefeated, his fans will enjoy it, his haters are gonna hate and it will be business as usual.
Well I've never been a fan of Cotto but I'm a fan of boxing period,and I always respected him as a fighter he looks like he's in great shape as usual.
This guy always comes well prepared as we all know he's serious about his craft, I think fight night people talking about 1st rd Ko's and him being out of there early will be very disappointed, I don't see him miraculously being faster than Manny but a converted southpaw with this much power and his skill level

When it comes to speed there is a reason why Floyd is the ''litmus test'', his speed is unmatched and there's no one in the game to compare him to, so we gauge the speed of other fighters by comparing them to him. This also pertains to his accuracy, unmatched.

This is a fight and anything is possible, but seriously Manny is no defensive genius and Cotto is going to hit this guy flush and he can't deal with his power. When Manny decides to brawl and trade punches, and he will because its in his nature to do so when he gets hit, he's going to be in serious trouble. Clottey is a good solid opponent that holds his own at WW. We've never seen him take a whoopin in any of his losses and these were against ''elite'' fighters, if the man has performed at this level against Margarito and Cotto give him the time he needs to train for the fight with Pwill and see what he does. It's a tough task for both fighters and it seems like people here have doubts about both. Get this fight together the right way so no man can have any complaints and see what questions we get answered and what doubts about them they can erase.

Honestly I admire Manny and I've been a fan of him since 1999, I respect Cotto as a fighter but I am not a fan, I live in NYC and would constantly get into disputes with P-ricans for joking about how he only liked to fight on the eve of the P-rican day parade. I just respect his power and the skills he's shown and think he will do what he's supposed to do.
Ok don't get me wrong I like PWill, but I don't regard him to be as great as some other people here do, and that also doesn't mean I won't in the future.
