Yes as children we pick up something for the sheer enjoyment of it... But if that something ends up not being financially lucrative, we delegate it down into a hobby (like your guitar playing) or less, a seldom visited distraction from the grind of the day to day. Even if you are doing something you love... Work ends up being work. And this concept of people doing what they love and just "happening" to get rich off it is skewed imo.. Overly idealistic.
