Fuck Conor McGarbage!!!
I hope Mayweather knocks every pot of gold out of that potatoe head Leprechaun!
That right hand to McGarbage's face wont be magically delicious!
Nowww that's racist!
P Will doesn't have the heart for it anymore, he was all talk about retirement against Sergio and was terrible against Lara...
Added to the fact he doesn't deserve a fight with Cotto...
The Fury and Price fight would have been humongous in the U.K. if they'd kept away from each other and built themselves up a bit in America.
Think Price is a better boxer, but Fury can take a punch far better. It's Price's humiliating loss that has damaged this fight, not as a contest but from the money side of things
When Taylor moved and boxed she was still getting out landed she was moving more than throwing what Stevenson is doing to Valdez, that is what you call boxing offense and defense..I thought round 7 was toss up rounds 8-9 Taylor and round 12 Katie loss that and the fight at the point..
I had Taylor 1, shading 2 as Serrano hadn't really found her range, 3rd as Katie landed more marginally, taylor landed more in 4th but getting hit harder and getting cut so gave 4th to Serrano as well as 5th, 6th and 7th, and the last round was close so not too sure there. Don't see how anyone can claim robbery with a fight that close.
Serrano had the middle rounds obviously but she gave away easily 3-4 of the last few rounds and some of the early ones were close enough to give to Taylor. I'd have it Taylor by a round or a draw.
While I borderline hate both, Snr has been doing cancer charity work for sometime now... there's even youtube video of a fight for cancer charity from last year, so don't think this is posturing
Arum is scum but Manny mismanaged his own finances. It's not Arums job to handle his flippant spending and the poor handling of his finances. He never got that Mayweather money but Mayweather promoted himself.
Yeah he said no civilized country... Jokes aside. Pacman is an unreal boxer, but he's a ****ing idiot, doesn't like homosexuals and is all for putting down humans. While there are stories every once in a while that make me question my stance on it all, Manny seems far too dim witted to be making the decisions for a whole country.
Fury by two rounds. Don't see how people could give him a draw but I'd accept it, what I don't accept is anyone thinking Wilder won by that wide of a decision.
Robbery
Nothing wrong with the stoppage, doubt Linares quit as he was very competitive throughout the fight and still have more than punchers chance to win. Great fight. Mikey at 135 is the obvious next fight.
Some rounds were def close and hard to score but the 2 judges seem to give all close rounds to Taylor but even in those rounds she was missing a lot right along with Serrano and the round she almost got KO'ed should have been a 2 pt round for Serrano I just don't see any scenario were Taylor won the fight by any amount of points, it was a draw at best and that's pushing it imo
Taylor was definitely rocked but don't think she was ever not throwing back or close to getting knocked down or knocked out. What did you score it?
Frampton's not shot but have to favour Valdez. Doubt Valdez's camp would roll the dice having the fight in Ireland regardless of the SKY TV money/ticket sales.
I think she'll want to fight Persoon. Not sure her promoters are as eager. Don't see how she can be getting criticized for chasing an undisputed champion a weight or two above where she's comfortable
She's not in her twenties and these big fights aren't going to be there forever, so I do believe she will want all three.
Taylor won round 12? Are yall scoring like half the round or what because Katie's knee was close to touching the canvas and she was clearly wobbled in the 12th round this fight gives me Canelo-GGG I vibes..I'm all for the best man or woman winning but come on now..
She cut Serrano in the 12th and her knee didn't hit the canvas, which is key.
I follow him for his boxing achievements but his cocky demeanour (that's not for show) and some of the comments he's made about other boxers and his stablemates, leave a bad taste in my mouth. He seems to truly believe he's the best already, though he has a hell of a lot of work to do.
If the Fury that embarrassed Wilder twice turns up against Joshua, it'll end in a late stoppage for Fury. Joshua fights scared, and Fury will outbox/outpoint him until he gets desperate and wild, and he'll get finished off late.
Well, (1) I'm rarely swayed by majority opinion, and (2) you saw Katie Taylor get the decision because of what she's contributed to women's boxing?
I don't know how you'd see that, I just saw the home fighter get the benefit of the doubt like they always do.
By home fighter you mean an Irish woman fighting in the US yeah?
Canelo is actively going out there and delivering huge fights on a consistent basis, win or lose. GGG and then Bivol is a great schedule of fights in the coming months. Boxing fans are fickle af.
Crawford has beaten a lot of good fighters but no greats. I don't think he's ever gone into a fight he wasn't expected to win, whereas Loma against Rigo, Walters and a larger stronger Linares were all big challenges to overcome.
