TYSON Fury has written off his big domestic rival David Price by insisting: Fighting him would be a backwards step.
British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Price was sensationally stopped by 41-year-old American Tony Thompson on Saturday.
It was a first professional defeat for the 29-year-old Scouser, who admits the result has now put his bid to get on to the world title scene back by around six months.
Fury, 24, has repeatedly been linked with Price for what would be a crowd-pulling domestic dust-up. Click Here To Read More]
These guys can talk all the talk in the world and get big asses that will cash those checks the mouth is writin' but none of them are at the level of Chisora, Areola, etc....
yeah I Know Fury beat Chisora....and good for him! unfortunately Chisora looks to be a solid opponent, a gate keeper, until he is more consistant. Fury needs to go outside Britian and beat a guy like Cunningham or stay in the fight against a solid first teir guy (Klitschko or Haye) like Chisora did.
Fury could lose to Cunningham and he'd still be in a much stronger position than Price. that's just the way it is. Price's future in boxing is very dim. he has little potential for development on what he is now.
Thats BS. If he loses to Cunningham he is another unproven....Period and all Hating aside.
haha, what a delusional pikie. 2 years ahead? you fcukin vacated your british and commonwealth titles to go and fight rogan for the irish title rather than fight price. that says it all.
price can lose every future fight he has by 1st round ko, it still doesnt change the fact that tyson fury didnt want to fight him.
The Fury and Price fight would have been humongous in the U.K. if they'd kept away from each other and built themselves up a bit in America.
Think Price is a better boxer, but Fury can take a punch far better. It's Price's humiliating loss that has damaged this fight, not as a contest but from the money side of things
Steve Cunningham and Kevin Johnson are in their prime? Come on Peter, you know better than that.
Also, very good interview from Tyson Fury and sensible view on David Price. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1fu8KbGUzM
