Truthfully...the Zab one is what gets to me. Zab would beat ALOT of people at 147, and the way Mayweather seriously struggled with his speed and deceptive method of setting up his punches, i think people take the easy way out by discredting Zab.
No doubt Zab has the speed and power to match-up with PBF, Zab just don't have determination to do it for full twelve rounds. After 6 rnds., Zab just got Lazy and was holding back on his punches. His lack of determination coz him that fight with PBF.
With due respect, I know what you are saying but officially Pac is only a two-time world champion. You could argue that the Ring Magazine is more respected and that the alphabet soups' have lost their credibility, but until that changes -- it is going to be an uphill battle to have everyone say that he is a three-time world champion.
I do hope he does in the future and even surpass it. :)
Good Point...For me and maybe for most of the boxing fans, Barrera might be just holding the Ring Magazine that night he fought PAC but Barrera universally rank#1 in that featherweight division and ranked#3 in pound 4 pound the highest among any featherweight the night he fought PAC. That Ring Magazine was way better than any belt that night.
He'll get another title in the future if any of these so-called champs give manny a chance..
Since paquiao is the only thing you guys talk about i just want to see how bias some of you pac fan's are! I agree that paquiao is a real good fighter and he came out of nowere and beat two of the best fighters that has been fighting nothing but the best for the last DECADE.
First of all, Pac didnt come out from nowhere. He's been a pro since he was 16. He earned his first WBC flyweight title in 1998. He held WBC International super bantamweight title in 1999. He held IBF super bantamweight in 2001. He won those title all from KO! That was before he fought Barrera!!
My beef is that some of you guys are saying that Paquiao should be up their with both Barrera and Morales in the Hall of fame and I just have to disagree with that i know he beat them both but that doesnt mean he gets all the credit for all the wars that barrera and morales been in!

Morales and Barrera been been in so many wars and the difference pacquaio have not..The answer: Pacquaio had so much power in that left and just KO overwhelm everyone under 5rnds.
Paquiao has only been on the map since 04 so i think he still has to be around for ATLEAST a couple more years.

Taylor and Hatton have not held any title from different weight division and that what separates PAcquiao from these two Champion. Hatton wont fight anywhere except in England, Pacquaio will fight anyone, anytime anywhere. Taylor duck people which just did with Winky and PAC duck nobody and will fight the best.

Pacman dropped all of his mexican opponents but I believe its not his intention to wage any war with the mexican. He just wanna fight the best to be the best and it just happen mexico had the best. Unfortunately for the mexican, Pacquaio dropped every mexican fighter that gets in his way. The title in this thread might not sounds good for most mexican but its the truth until they come out with new fighter to beat the best.

Your theory might be right about asians but hold that thought for a moment. FYI, Filipino are very unique among other asians because of their colonial history.
