all amir khan and manny has to do is look at there self in the mirror and ask themselves can i do what mayweather do in the ring have i fought another fighter than can do the things that mayweather does in the ring if after that if they have doubt they already loss from that point on and there is no need for the fight to take place.
Roy could definitely make taylor look silly because of his style handspeed. He knows how to put combinations together better than winky and hopkins. If taylor don't go after roy and try to land a big punch i see him losing. And obviously roy wouldn't take this fight if he thought he could'nt win. He told hopkins he could beat taylor just as easy has hopkins beat tarver. I think he can.
Collazo V.s. Clottey
My thoughts on this fight glad to see two more great fighters in the WW divisions get it on the hottest division in boxing. It seems like anyone in the top 20 can fight each other and it would definitely catch my attention of wanting to see it alot of talent. But anyways on to Collazo v.s. Clottey my pick would have to be Collazo i think he pose a different kind of style and threat that Clottey isn't seen or is ready for. This is why Collazo is a southpaw, slick, fast footwork, speed, and was able to hold his own against Shane Mosley in the first half of the fight and also He was able to take Shane punches. I just don't think Clottey can hit harder than Shane. He's a decent puncher but i don't think it will be easy for him to put those type of punches on Collazo look who Clottey has fought Baldomir, Margarito, and Corrales (R.I.P.). all of them where straight up and down they just stood straight up and thru wide shots while he was able to punch in between them with sharper punches but Collazo is much more skilled than those guys he knows how to shoot straight accurate punches and he doesn't stand straight up and down he has good footwork and movements. Thats mY thoughts?
Decks are Stacked Against Diaz
All the decks of cards are stacked against Diaz problems with Promoter (Left), Lawyer (Left), Trainer (Injured), and having to fight Nate Cambell. If Diaz wins this fight he will be there for HBO, Golden Boy, and Top Rank to give him the big money fights. This fight will show if Diaz can handle all the pressure outside and inside of the ring in one Squared circle. Inside he has Nate Campbell and outside he has Don King, Ronnie Shields, and Fred Levins going into this fight which he showed and looks like he can handle the pressure with a breeze, but we the fans will soon find out if he can deal with the problems outside of the ring and block it all out and win the fight the way he's done in the past.
Mosley already looks in fighting shape as mayweather is always in shape, but not fighting shape. I think mosley has a edge in training, but that just might be his mistake. Mosley got his self caught up in two training camps back to back with no rest in between. Could spell disaster for Mosley overtraining or peaking to soon could hurt him in this fight and he needs all the help and edges he can get. Mosley looks overtrained already. Look how his face chizzled out.
This should be Jermaine Taylor easiest fight, and ko to come I know it's a bold statement but if you look at his previous 5 fights all where either smaller, faster, southpaw, slick, elusive, and some tricky. But Pavlik is going to come straight at Taylor because thats the only way that he knows how to fight. Taylor should love that type of fighting because he love to shuffle back and jab then counter with right hands but the key to it is not to get stuck on the ropes because that would be suicide against Pavlik. Whoever can take the punches the best will win this fight remember the famous quote everyone has a plan until they get hit. Jermaine doesn't like to get hit so once he taste leather hes going to come at Pavlik hard. Pavlik loves to get hit even in the Miranda fight he was punch drunk he just was in great condition and Miranda wasn't which is why he came in and had to weighin twice. I predict a Taylor win wouldn't be suprise if he ko's the overhyped Pavlik a guy he already beat and with that on his side knowing he already beat a guy is going to boost his confidence even more and Pavlik's less because he faced against the truth and he knows it that why he's training harder than he ever has.
this is all bull**** de la hoya sent mosley to do his dirty work he knew arum wouldn't allow hoya or golden boy to be involved in a pacman fight so now he has to let mosley do his own thing and he doesn't care he just saying this **** to make it look like there still not looking out for each other or there friendship is over it bull**** there close like tights and after this fight mosley will go back to oscar guaranteed.
HBO wins this one
HBO wins this weekend in my book. I mean you get alot better commentary from HBO announcers and just a better boxing show. I mean Showtime is for fighters who can't get on HBO. Showtime compared to HBO is sort of like going from a Community College to One of the Top Ten University's in the country for a fighter I mean if you fail and don't get good grades or kicked out you go back down to Showtime/Community College. Look at Joe Calzaghe first time I actually seen him fight was on Showtime he cleaned out Jeff Lacy and afterwards he's been on HBO ever sense then. Another Example Antonio Tarver he lost to Hopkins and he's been back on showtime ever sense. I just think showtime is for fighters that are being groomed to one day play in the Big Leagues which is HBO. You can definitely make a name for yourself no matter what network a fighter is on. Not to say that Showtime doesn't have great fights but it has to be a great fight for me to watch a showtime fight there crew just don't interest me enough. But I'm not only picking HBO this weekend because of announcers I'm picking it because I like Juan Diaz the way he fights is entertaining and also I like Samuel Peter for his Power and i think both of those guys are the future of boxing and will be on top of there divisions in the near future.
I see Pavlik had ko over Grady Brewer a year before Taylor beat him by decision. So Pavlik fans have a good argument but besides that Taylor has fought the better competition not only big names but also just better fighters period Pavlik fought Anthony Ivory 28-66 and didn't even ko him, and a guy that had 2-32 losses, but taylor has never fought a guy that had over 10 losses and Pavlik has fought more than i can count on both hands.
Why would Taylor take a offer of 1.6m to fight Calzaghe in London. When he can fight Ouma and Spinks Junior Middles and make more money in the U.S. i think Frank Warren got it wrong he will never get a top guy to get in the ring with Calzaghe with those kinds of offers. Taylor is not a contender so why treat him like one with that kind of offer i can imagine what they gave Jeff Lacy.
Frank Warren needs to keep his Big buffalo on crack ass in London. And if Calzaghe wants to get real top guys in the ring all he has to do is drop Frank Warren and come to the U.S. He didnt look that immpressive when he fought Sakio Bika in the u.s. last time so that speaks for itself that he needs to be accross the water to get a victory fake ass p4p want a be. Drop Frank Warren this would make you look a whole lot better Calzaghe.
I'm a hundred percent in agreement with floyd trying to clean up the sport that we all love but he should think about using other methods like hair samples and i don't know if it can be detected through the hair but it is a could method a athlete must remain with all air that has grown on head face and body until testing is over. Now if it can be detected i think that this could really clean up the sport. but we all know floyd is now bald headed in all of his fight ever sense the de la hoya fight 2007 he started going bald up to now. 2006 and prior he always wore a fade hair cut. now he's bald thats odd maybe he started to go bald but who knows.
He Must Be Doing Something Right
Everyone keeps saying that Judah is getting chance after chance.
He must be doing something right. HBO keeps giving him PPV dates year after year. I think he's one of the most exciting fighters in the welterweight division. I personally like to see him fight no matter what the results are win or lose you know your going to get a great fight out of Zab Judah when he's fighting the top
guys. The speed and power that Zab Judah possess is intriguing enough to make
you want to watch him fight no matter who it is against. You might get a knockout from him or by his opponent at the end of the day your going to get a great fight. I think he's faster than Shane Mosley he has more power than Shane Mosley. Shane Mosley remember had problems out of Luis Collazo early in the fight. Zab is much more faster than Collazo has more power than him all Zab need to do is touch up on more is his stamina and working with Mayweather will give him more confidence and edge going into this fight. I like Zab Judah in this fight if he wins or lose I will always support him. If he loses so what he lost to a great fighters not a bum.
Cotto is looking for easy way out
Cotto is looking to find a easy way to the top when mayweather put in 10 years of hard work and dedication to make and build himself up to a top name instead of trying to get a big name to get a win over to ride off of that. Get out there Cotto and fight whoever the network wants you to fight and move up to 154 and 160 conquer those divisions and maybe you can make yourself a household name to where you can get fights with the other top fighters with no problem. If you can't get Mayweather then move up in weight thats what mayweather did when you and hatton didn't want to fight him at 140 cotto had his chance and now he thinks he's ready.
