Warren To Offer Calzaghe To Taylor, For July

In a recent interview with The Sun Online, Frank Warren, promoter of super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe, said that a written offer of $1.6 million will be made this week to middlweight Jermain Taylor, for a July clash with Calzaghe in London.

Warren wants to stage the bout at the O2 Arena, formerly known as the Millennium Dome.

After the premature stoppage of Calzaghe's bout with Peter Manfredo, Jr., which took place in Cardiff, Wales, would Taylor take the risk of traveling to London?

Taylor has a fight set with junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks on May 19 in Memphis.
