I originally watched the fight live in Italy, with Italian commentary, which I didnt understand a word of, so relied soley on the video. Like most people i was pretty dissappointed with the fight but it was clear that Haye was just there to get paid and to avoid being KTFO, so just ran away. Yesterday I watched it again but with the UK commentary and i was laughing my head off! Which fight were those clowns watching FFS? they were saying haye was landing huge shots when they were missing altogether or glancing the gloves or shoulder. Rounds where he landed about 4 punches they were saying he won the round. Shame shame. Cant people watch sport for sports sake without having to be biased?

I have an admission. I used to be a HUGE David Haye fan in his early days. I saw him on BBC in like his 2nd pro fight and thought, MAN this guy is awesome, he will be brilliant one day! Whats more, in the post fight interview, he was really humble respectful and polite and I began to follow his career with optimism! I was utterly DEVASTATED when he lost to Carl Thompson, but still carried on following his fights, and was please to see him continue to improve. But now... probably since the Mormeck fight he has become more and more of an *******, culminating in what we have had to put up with now in the lead up to this fight. The guy is an outright tool, and yes he has ability I am the first to admit, but I hope and pray that Wlad crushes him in a humilating fashion into retirement. Success and money has gone to his head in a scary way, which actually makes me respect the K's more for how they have kept their feet on the ground despite their success.

What a disgrace for a "Heavyweight Champion" to quit like that!!!! I hope he wears the label of QUITTER for the rest of career the way Vitali had to (even though Vitali retired for a medically valid reason after dominating the fight) Peter quit because he was just plain scared. Whats worse, NOT ONE of Vitali's other victims quit, they all took their fate like men. Samuel Peter is a disgrace, the WBC should boot him out for ever after that.

Vitali Klitschko has been quoted many times as saying that he's in good health and perfect shape to fight. However, just looking at the few training camp photos on klitschko.com, Vitali does not look in such great fitness. He doesnt look ripped really considering he's been training for one of the biggest fights of his career for 12 weeks. I just realised... most people are focusing on his past injuries, but is his age and aerobic fitness level actually going to be the big factor? Perhaps the weigh-in photos will give more of a clue... Having hung that question out there, I'm going to still pick him to win TKO7 ... lets see!

I personally want to see unification, but Don King is probably blocking any attempts for Wlad to do that. I guess this is the next best move for Wlad, to avenge that wierd loss. I would pick Wlad to win inside 5 rounds.

Having never seen Maskaev fight before (only seen his highlights reel) I was very disappointed with this guy! How can this guy be a heavyweight champ?? Well he certainly wont be one for long, with performances like that. There were times when he had Okello out on his feet and just stood and watched him sway! I was truly shocked. The way Vitali hunted down Kirk Johnson is the way a heavyweight champ should behave (yes I know he wasnt the champ then but still).
