I think he needs to work on head movement. It's funny on a documentary leading up to the fight Joshua laid out the plan to beat klitschko which relied on keeping constant head movement and varying the attack head to body however there was very little head movement. Also Klitschko does telegraph his attacks and almost always before he throws a 1 2 or a hook he'll start bouncing in and out of range and I'm surprised Joshua never really caught on to to it and adjusted. I still believe though that Klitschko would be too much for Deontay or Parker at this moment
While i appreciate how stacked the card is especially with decent fights even better when you consider it's a Frank Warren promotions to me its obvious he did this because he has to i mean his cash cow (Khan) left him and a main event like Chisora and Sexton wouldn't do that well on sky sports let alone box office, Think about it if it was hypothetically khan vs maidana theres not a cats chance in hell that warren would of stacked it the way he is stacking this card.
Saying that im still looking forward to a great night of british boxing
I highly doubt they will bring back George although his exchanges with Lampley were hilarious at times especially in the trinidad hopkins fight where Hopkins was looking good and Lampley said hopkins isn't showing signs of tiredness at all and then in jumped George claiming there will plenty of signs even though there wasn't lol
im editing it right now.. and for those of ya'll who don't know me
im the guy that made this video:
:boxing:
the fights that will be shown in the offensive skills video will be:
Mosley,Judah,Hatton,Augustus,Hatton, Gatti
Can't wait dude, i really enjoyed that master of defense video and lost count the amount of times i watched it...unbelieveable...thanks again
Vernon Paris
Thanks for the vid dude, It's easy to see why they brought him in because he is very reminiscent of Paulie. Good to see (as a fellow brit) that Khan is doing well in sparring and managed to drop him but i still feel that Paulie has the experience factor which will make this a much harder fight than people anticipate. Saying that if Khan does manage to knock him out or tko him early it would be very impressive.
Yeah wouldn't miss it. This is nothing new, gotta' do it if you want to see this stuff live. Something special about seeing it live (instead of avoiding the results and downloading it) knowing the entire world is watching it with you. Epic stuff.
Agree 100% mate...nothing beats that live unpredictable feeling which just aint there when watching next day downloaded....cant wait!
In no way shape or form would i ever say Khan could beat floyd but i do think he could potentially give him problems the jab was great yesterday plus i hate when people compare previous fights to how a different fight with a different opponent would go especially when freddie roach is their trainer, a guy infamous for his gameplans. He said on many occasions that they knew with paulie they could take risks and the gameplan was perfect creating a large distance and then closing in down with the double jab and occasion right hand against mayweather they wouldnt be foolish to try this
He's the sort of guy that purchased the rocky dvd set, watched it and then thought you know what i could actually train people...and by some crazy miracle he led someone to a world title but he was shown up in fights as having perhaps the lowest boxing IQ for a trainer we have ever seen i mean it wouldn't suprise me if his first words at birth was double jab and right hand i mean please! correct me if i am wrong but hooks and uppercuts are legal right?
I think Dirrell purely based on the fact that he has tremendous skills and is not stupid. He wont fall into this traps and do what Bute wants you to do which is overstretch combined with his improving ring generalship i cant see anything but a Direll quite competitive but comprehensive win
Benavidez already beats him in sparring and the kid is only going to get better every day.
From what Freddie Roach says the are "dead even" thats hardly beating him
has anyone noticed how much advertising sky are doing for this fight ive seen there advert for the fight over 15 times and all the information required is regularly put on the side bar on sky sports news.
I haven't seen the adverts mate but i have seen the advertisement on the sidebar constantly. They seem to gradually be getting back into boxing with this fight and they have the Paul Williams vs Kermit Cintron fight on sky sports aswell so things are looking up
To be honest bro i don't agree with you mainly because Floyd is the type of fighter where by he will move and use his legs if his opponent is aggresive and constantly coming forward however if, like JMM, you simply stand in front of him thinking of what punch to throw there is no reason for him to use his legs and use pointless energy.
Unbelieveable, i hardly ever contribute to the forum instead i enjoy reading everyones views and opinions and even though i didn't always agree with Samurai's views i always enjoyed reading his comments. Man! just shows life is to short and you truly never know when your time is up.
RIP Sam
Haye is a pathetic coward and a fraud, there's nothing worse than someone who talks shit and can't back it up. What a fukking pussy.
Which is why they gave him a ridicolous contract with a never heard of 2 rematches and then on top of that try to control his fights and where they take place until the man retires. Never mind anyway i mean what else was 'Klitschko 2009' going to say lol
