Simple Question: Out of all the 140lbs is Amir Khan the most naturally gifted?

khan k0d him twice as an amateur..... i think khan is far more talented than any 140 fighter, has better speed, power, movement and the lot. but he looks to have a poor chin, i wouldnt pick him to beat top 140 fighters due to the chin factor... stoppage does not = KO also, as the old adage goes "amateurs dont mean sht in the pros." its easier to throw punches in bunches when you have the benefit of headgear. im not sold on his power at 140 and his footwork/movement is not natural.

Bradley and Alexander are argueably more talented than him. Ortiz isn't on that list imo. you must not know the meaning of physical talent then. ortiz is the biggest, strongest, hardest punching and most naturally athletic fighter at 140.

What do you mean by "talented"? He has immense physical assets but he doesn't strike as the most gifted boxer I ever saw. His ring IQ is low, he's very mechanical and he often suffers lapses in concentration. he has height and hand speed for a 140 lb'er. thats about it. i completely agree with the bolded part though. hes lucky he linked up with a good trainer early on. he wouldve ended up another jermain taylor...better athlete than natural boxer.

All i see is fast hands, really. His footwork is shabby, he's robotic and linear, he has zero ring intelligence, and he poor instincts.

you can have all the skills in the world, but theres no way to train a weak chin. thats his one prolem. his only hope is to protect that chin, which means he needs to tighten up that defense.
