I pretty much held back on my feedback until i heard from most of you but Jack Lowe has been "exposed" yet again as nothin' more than a poor interpretation of a pop warner football coach!!!.
He had absolutely no back up game plan to aid Kelly in defeating the very slick, crafty, athletic, Martinez. He didn't learn (anything) from the Hopkins demolition! He's a cheer leader at best and should have been fired a looooong time ago, and if Kelly doesn't wake up and see this guy is an amateur at best then he'll never reach his full potential, friendship stops when business begins Kelly !!!!!!!!!!!!
I like that he's a tough guy and all, but Jack Loewe is shit. I've never heard him offer any advice but "Double your ****in jab, Kel!" He needs to figure out that Kelly is NEVER GOING TO DO IT and try a different strategy. He's so bad he has me thinking that simply doubling a jab is strategy.
He's the sort of guy that purchased the rocky dvd set, watched it and then thought you know what i could actually train people...and by some crazy miracle he led someone to a world title but he was shown up in fights as having perhaps the lowest boxing IQ for a trainer we have ever seen i mean it wouldn't suprise me if his first words at birth was double jab and right hand i mean please! correct me if i am wrong but hooks and uppercuts are legal right?
That was one of the funniest thing I've ever read.

I think the guy is kind of an a*s but he did seem to do a better job in the Martinez fight. I distinctly remember him telling Pavlik to aim a little lower with his straight rights because Martinez was hitting and ducking to his left. He told Kelly "He is always ducking to the side, aim here (pointing to the sternum area) and he'll be there for it. If not, you'll hit something". That stuck out in my mind as some decent advice given the situation. Loew is rough around the edges and his tough guy attitude makes him seem arrogant.
He did an excellent job.it took Ghost to 4 rounds to figure and time Martinez and if it wasn't for the cuts the fight would had been alot closer than it was. Non the less Lowe did a good job.
What Pavlik is getting out of his athletic ability is fairly good I think. How many champs in boxing have less athletic ability then Pavlik? I am a Pavlik fan but first time I saw him fight I did not think he was destined to be a great fighter. The Pavlik team is doing something right.
hes not technical enough.. i think he should stay because any new trainer with pav will try and change the way he fights.. he was never a technically sound fighter.. he was a tough sob, with great stamina and a decent beard.. too late to teach a old dog new tricks ala mayweather Sr training hatton
