it depends on every fighter, the style he has, the wars he has been in, etc
I think Pacquiao might not be in his prime according to this.
His style, especially in the early part of his career, is pretty much f@ck defense, as long as I get mine off.
Wars
With just from the 3 great mexican fighters:
2 wars with the fights with Marquez
2 wars with the 3 fights with Morales
1 war from the 2 fights with Barrera
And I'll add 1 more war for the combination of the Cotto fight and the fouling he got from Agapito Sanchez
He also did suffer 2 KO's, one of them a real one and the other a body punch knockout but that one was probably a sign he didn't belong in the flyweight division anymore and needed to have weight in him to take punch resistence. Thats why he jumped 2 divisions to go straight to Super bantam weight.
May be Floyd needs to hear this to psyche him self up and think Pacquiao is washed up. Hehe
It sounds like Roach has drunk Arum's kool-aid saying Valero is the best money opponent. What is he thinking? Valero is still a relative unknown to the general public.
This is what I am saying.
Man, I'd been wanting Pacquiao vs. Valero ever since Pac vs. Morales III. But now that Pacquiao's popularity has risen to another level, Valero gots to build up his, even just 2-3 Showtime/HBO fights in the U.S..
In a perfect world here is how I see it.
June 2010 - Valero vs. some bum at 140
Winner: Valero by KO
October 2010 Pacquiao vs. Mosley/Mayweather winner
Winner: Pac
October 2010 - Valero vs. Bradley
(may be undercard of Pacquiao Mosley/Mayweather winner)
Winner: Valero by TKO
February 2011 - Valero vs. Amir Khan
Winner: Valero by KO
THE SHOWDOWN
Summer 2011 - Pacquiao vs. Valero
Winner: I don't give a **** as long as its a show!!! ala Hagler Hearns style
Its 1.2 mil

Alright man, it's the second time I've seen this guy put this on.
It said Clottey was just content of just making 1.2 million dollars not Pacquiao Vs. Clottey did 1.2 million buys

I think they said Joshua Clottey was just after making $1.2 million dollars, not Pac Vs. Clottey made 1.2 million buys.
How do they ate those things? I would throw up just by looking at those insects.
In nearly all muslims countries, I think they feel the same way of Americans eating pork chops and hot dogs. In India they probably think people who eat steak are unholy and butchers of their holy cows. I'm sure some secular christian group probably looks down upon people eating gyros (lamb meat).
The point I'm trying to make is, even though I probably will never eat cockaroaches unless somebody offers me a million dollars for it, different people through out the world have different taste and delicacies.
Yeah, i get your point. It feels so weird though.
You think thats weird.
Anybody ever show you 2 girls in a cup?
If nobody has..... don't let curiosity get the best of you.
It will f@ck you up!!!!
In utter humiliation and disgrace. Floyd will expose and Gatti him. After doing so Pacman will be desperate to beat a slick American. He will revert to drug abusing again, and will lost to another slick American and test positive after the fight.
Now thats hating.
Man this thread is weak.
I can equate it to saying, "Pacquiao will give a beating to Floyd the way he did to Hatton. This is because according to Freddie Roach, Pacquiao is watching tapes now of the the other fighters and seeing their tendancies. Especially with Pacquiao wanting to show an example of Mayweather since he is smearing his name."
Again I say this mockingly
Anybody who thinks one makes an example of the other for this fight is nuts.
The fight will have the same outcome as Floyd vs. JMM.
Floyd by UD. :boxing:
I saw Marquez hit Floyd flush, not much but right on the button. And what does Mayweather do, walk it off, smiles like Pacquiao did. Marquez never had power in the WWs division. Hell Marquez tagged Pacquiao a lot in the lower divisions but never once put him down, even when Pacquiao was out of position and should have been knocked down but only to be just stagggerd. I gotta give props to Marquez for always getting back up though and continuing.
But my point is this: If Pacquiao hits Mayweather flush, you better believe those crazy combos will be coming from Pacquiao if he doesn't knock down Mayweather alone from that one clean punch.
yeah. Im expecting a much more fun fight than the Pac-Cotto fight.
More fun than Pac-Cotto 6th round to the end of fight, more than likely. More fun than Pac-Cotto 1st-5th round, highly unlikely.
Gatti vs Ward I, II, III(even thought Gatti lost the first one, it was still my favorite of th three)
RIP Arturo, you are the real life Rocky Balboa to many.
Barerra vs Prince Naseem
(Even though I was somewhat of a fan of Hamed back then)
Pacquiao vs Barrera I, Morales II, DLH, Hatton
I know I'm leaving off a lot but those are some.
The mentality of boxers after a decisive loss or a brutal knockout tests that boxers character/make-up. Heck, Prince Naseem Hamed wasn't even knocked out by Barrera but he might as well have been. Barrera spanked the shit out of his ego!!!!! I'm not saying Floyd will end up the same and can't recover if Mosely dominates him but he would have to change his mindset, especially in the humility department.
add taylors staminia to that and there ent nobody touching the guy
And I'll add Butterbean's physique, may be stamina too. King of the 4 rounders baybeee!!!!!
Ohh one more thing, I forgot which Knockout Kings game it was but I remember seeing all of Sugar Ray Robinson's stats were either all 99 or 98. For when SRR was at his prime was that over rated or pretty much accurate. I think Ali had everything 99 but power at just 95. I don't really know a lot about SRR but I think it's ashame nobody has mentioned any of his boxing abilities to create their ideal boxer. May be he was just before all of our time.
Can you combine Pacquiao and Mayweather?
I'll go with Pacquiao's speed and power,
Mayweather's defense and reflexes.
Since their natural stance are obviously different and it pains me to say this but I'll go with Mayweather's left hook over Pacquiao's right hook in that Mayweather has tendancy to better time avoiding an opponents punch and then sneaking in that lead hook. Not that Pacquiao's isn't a lot worse. Do you all remember how perfectly he timed Hatton on his first knock down, freaking Emmanuel Steward was salivating in the process on the slow motion replay.
I will definetely take Pacquiao's 'Manila Ice' Left any day over Mayweather's over hand right though.
Chin, Heart, Body - Pacquiao
Face's durability to cuts - Mayweather(I think his defense really plays the part here though)
I think I covered most of it.
32nd poster and nobody says anything along the lines of 'Pacroid would definetely knock him out if they didn't do any blood test'.
Great thread!!!!
I think it will be highly unlikely that Shane gets KO'ed by Pacquiao but it can happen. By which Pacquiao is gonna have to throw a good 30 punches to Mosley's chin that Mosley never saw coming. In combinations.
Floyd woulda been so smart he wouldn't even fight duran to begin with, that's how intelligent he is. That is the only way he wouldn't get KO'd let alone hit against Duran.
Hahahahah Oh no he went there!!!!! Hehe
JLC x2.
Also I gotta find it funny that people were complaining about Floyd not wanting to talk about Manny a couple of days ago, but now people want to talk again when he does say something
Overall :gives:
Ohh right, with some people saying JLC winning his first fight with Mayweather.
i also think he is right when he says he is the best right now.
pacquiao gets so much credit for beating not fully-rehydrated fighters, he probably even needs steroids to beat them.
pacquiao fights u only under this conditions :
- weight drained
- no bloodtest
- no other extra demands, but he is allowed to
anything else is not acceptable for team pacroid.
i dont think he deserves to be rated over floyd.
Who has Floyd beaten, other than Chico, that was at their best when they fought?

Hopefully one day when Pacquiao vs. Valero happens, it might just go down as one of Boxing's signature fights.
We both have a clause in our contract. His contract states that if I weight over 147, I will have to pay 1mill for every pound that I go over. My contract states that we both will take random drug test, urine and blood. If you're clean, why not take it. Floyd so funny, every interview you will hear this.
You forgot, "I haven't met a boxer that didn't want to take a 25 million dollar drug test." It's like he said it so much he pretty much made everybody believe Pacquiao is on something.
With Mayweather's upbringing I don't think he knows thinks like humility or pride over money.
