The reason ppl rate Kostya so highly is because of this amateur and pro record combined.
Ppl have got to realise that previous to the fight between Kostya and Phillips, he was in court battling his promoter for a fee of 7 million dollars (he lost). His mine wasnt on the job and he didnt train properly.
Hatton punches are accurate against bums, but it will not be accurate against good fighters.
Tyszu has proven that he can be accurate against good fighters.

If you read my first post you wouldve seen that I picked Zoo to win but it wouldnt be the biggest shock in the world to me if Hatton beat Zoo. I have always said that Hatton has faught tomato cans and when he fights Zoo it will be a shock to his system but I am one of the few who have also said that Zoo is overated and his resume isnt the greatest either

I been watching a couple of Hattons recent fights.
I give Hatton hardly no chance of beating Tsyzu.
The way he fights is like gatti. He punches hard and leaves himself expose for a period of time.
Against bums, u get away. Against good counter puncher (mayweather, Zab) or fit strong guys (Cotto, Tsyzu), u will get KTFO.

What make Tsyzu so great, is his heart and determination.
After that Horror loss to Phillips, Zoo should of been out of the boxing elite. Most boxer dont recover from a bad loss.
But Tsyzu showed heart to fight his way back and KTFO out of two fighter in spectacular fashion. Going into the fight, he was an under dog and most Americans wrote him off.
Oscar is a great fighter and would go down in the hall of fame.I give him credit for stepping up to the challenge and fighting big names. But how many really big names did he beat.
He lost to Mosley twice, tito, Hopkins and should of lost to sturm.
He would lose to all of them again, if he eva got a rematch.
Tszyu Vs Mayweather
Zab Judah and Sharmba Mitchell were both top class boxers. Both move around the ring alot and were very quick with their hands.
But Tszyu still demolished them.
Mayweather fights similar to Zab and Sharmba, plus Mayweather is also fighting up a weight.
I pick Tszyu to win by KO.
Tsyzu best option would be to move up and fight Cory spinks.
Moving up weight, he would need to increase his power to dominate bigger men. It would be more challenging for Tsyzu.
I read that he was planning to fight Cory spinks, before the Sharmba fight. But a deal could not be reach.

Mayorga is a powerful guy, but he throws too many wild punches.
I see the fight being tough but going Kostya way. Kostya throws much more accurate power punches and is way smarter.
Kostya punches will go inside Mayorga wild punch most of the time, plus (his sparring partners say he punches as hard as a middleweight).
Mayorga can hurt Kostya no doubt, But that doesnt mean Kostya doesnt have a great chin. Cause Mayorga can hurt anyone up to 154.
Dont let the Vince Phillips lost fool u. That was about 9 years ago, and Kostya is now a much more smart and powerful boxer.
If u saw the Vince Phillips fight, Kostya was taking alot of huge punches from Vince Phillips, and it did not seem to hurt him until the tenth round. Where he lost, because of fatigue.
After the fight, Kostya said he learned from his mistake, and that he will take his training to a new level.
