UFC dont care to much for it but they do put up better fight cards then boxing at times. You dont have every fighter there trying to play promotor and stalling fights to squeeze every last possible penny out a promotion.

Canelo is a far bigger star than Golovkin and those were much bigger fights in terms of being fights between superstar attractions in the sport; Canelo accepted less than his worth to get them.
Golovkin has turned down $10million, by FAR the biggest purse of his career and a platform to become a superstar.

I understand the money part. But 2 tune up fights. Look Boxing is not
getting the same numbers it was several years ago. This blueprint worked for Floyd and Manny. There is no reason why there should be a 2 fight clause with a flat fee to GGG after that.

GGG is the fiercest punching middleweight possibly in the a history of the sport. Just an incredible KO percentage rate. A silver medalist. An incredible amateur. Just the total package.
Why would you not want Canelo to get acclimated to the 160 lb weight div to make the fight interesting?? Why would you not want Alvarez to adjust to the power of the division?
