I think by now Fury learned his lesson by now after getting knocked down by Cunningham, he won't be that careless again. Fury moves quickly around the ring, Cunningham couldn't avoid him. Fury has some underrated boxing abilities and if he leans on an opponent that can be pretty brutal. Haye is now older, comes off an injury and retirement... Fury might happen to catch Haye at the right time.
I do not get why people are complaining... If he takes 5 more fights, the Klitschkos may be retired by the time he is 'ready'... Vitali for sure will not be available anymore and Wlad has had some injuries in the recent past... so go for it, it would be a good fight
Even if his focus is off Vitali beats Adamek, Adamek is a blown up LHW and he is not fast and is not know for slipping jabs, how the hell should he beat Vitali?
Oh my god, now Haye is feeding on Carl's popularity after his nice victory... That dude will do anything to get publicity, he is like a cheap prostitute, that is why nobody likes him...
No controversy in this fight, it was ok. It was close, but no robbery... and I have seen Refs much worse than this one, who from my point of view did quite well, no even comparable to ridiculous Russell Mora... The guy has given countless warnings, you cannot be surprised if you get a point deducted in that case
The chances of AA beating Ward are slim, Ward is too quick and too clever. Ward can rough up AA on the inside without a problem or box from outside he just has so much more boxing skills. AA does not even remotely know how to slip a jab, that is why he looked so bad against Dirrell/Froch and his reach is just to0 short to hit these bigger SMW from outside. Anyways, I believe that the current middleweight champions would beat him if he chose to return. Martinez would make him look so bad it wouldn't be funny anymore, the same thing is true for slick russian Dmitriy Pirog...
King Arthur is gunna get outboxed all night long then KTFO in rounds 10-12. He is too slow and has too poor a workrate to deal with the vicious 'Cobra'. Dirrell proved that all you have to do to beat AA is stay mobile and out of range of his power punches. As long as Froch doesn't engage with him too much it will be an easy nights work for him
How?? Froch is not a boxer like AD, he is a slugger, he himself was outboxed by Dirrell. Froch likes to engage and trade punches (some of which Froch enjoys to block with his chin...) He does not have this fast precise Dirrell jab or mobility to keep him at distance. His best chance to win is imo by KO, but I think it is much more likely that AA KOs Froch. I do not believe that Froch can change his game, so that he will not get hit flush. If you allow AA to hit you directly on the chin, well...
Haye was in 'retirement', he is very inactive... Fury is actually quite good at draining a smaller opponent's stamina by leaning etc... I really can't see why so many think that Haye wins this as easily as the Audley Harrison fight. Will Haye go into his BJ position again when Tyson tries to lean on him?
Maidana made Broner look like the clown he is. Terrible... Broner is not even close to Mayweather's level and never will be. This fight will be remembered forever how he was faking stuff to get Maidana DQ'd, embarrassing and pathetic. Broner should better go down in weight and beat up midgets then he might be successful. @147 there are too many who can solve the problem after seeing how Maidana did it.
I believe they will approve Margarito, so it won't matter... Anyways I don't see Cotto winning this fight. Cotto just seems to be past prime, I was not really impressed with his performances. Margarito on the other hand seems to be the same fighter as always, the guys biggest gift is that he can take a lot of punishment and recover from it, it is incredible...
When he defeated Haye in the amateurs in 2001, they were both ~91kg. Just look at the two now, Haye is looking sharper than ever and Solis is carrying around 30-40 pounds of useless weight. The dude was quick on his feet once... now he slows down tremendously after doing two steps ...aaaaa
mmm, I am actually for improved tests as it seems ridiculously easy to 'juice' and not get caught using the standard tests. But it has some bad sides too... as soon as someone has a positive tests, there comes a mob, who wants to put the guy's head on a sp1ke... and his reputation is damaged for ever. I mean, even these tests are not without error... Furthermore, why take nandrolone and then agree to one of the most thorough testing procdures there is ?? Only 3 answers seem reasonable to me 1) stupidity 2) they really did not know 3) they assume that enough people will believe their contamination story or whatever excuse they will come up. It is a bit strange to me, but for all I care to hell with Berto... Let's see how many more get caught...
Pacquiao is a great fighter, a living legend)) but I think that Margarito has the right tools to beat him. The stamina, the chin, the power, the physical size and he is very active. If Pac decides to trade with Tony, I think Tony will be victorious... But Pacman has a chance if he fights maybe like Jean Pascal vs Dawson, getting in, doing damage getting out without being hit, then he might pull off a win. I do not believe this talk of Pacquiao easily knocking out Margarito, it's not going to happen
