Canelo is not elite. He'd get murdered by the better middleweights.
Mayweather has cherry-picked for the last several years. Fighting
Maidana...TWICE!!...was a joke. I'd like to know the PPV figures for those fights. Let's remember that he never had the balls to get in the ring with Margarito. Pacquiao will kill him.
Hearns is an interesting case. He was really unbeatable if he stayed at a distance, but fighters managed to psych him into bravado and slugging it out.
SRL should never have beaten him. And as for Hagler, Hearns could've stayed away an won on points but he was goaded into going toe-to-toe. Big mistake.
Ward--a hateful poseur. Now he wants to run away from Kovalev who, but for Mayweather's payoff of the judges, had Ward beaten easily.
Ward is a dirty fighter who uses elbows and punching on the break and hitting behind the head.
Why won't he fight Kovalev to which he had signed before the first fight?
Ward's word means ****.
In the 4th fight with Pacman, Marquez was being shredded. He caught
an onrushing pacman and knocked him out with a lucky punch. Otherwise,
they were going to carry Mr. M out of the ring in the next round...
Mayweather knew about the injury. I wouldn't be surprised if he paid off one of the sparring partners to lock arms on a swing just to bring the injury about--that's how much of a gutter-snipe Mayweather is. I'm sure he paid off the judges in the first Bradley fight, too.
Wait, isn't his name 'Money Mayweather' for a reason? A rematch would bring another $200 million, no? Is he going to change his name if Pacman knocks him out? Foreman thinks he's going to disappear if he loses...
I'm not so sure about Canelo beating Cotto. Cotto is the better boxer, with better balance. Plus, Canelo is only good for about 6 rounds..then he's done.
Mayweather, one of the biggest and most consistent gamblers in Vegas, bought
off the judges in the first Bradley fight in order to cool off the pressure on him
to fight Pacquiao.
Ridiculous comments. GGG is a good boxer as well as lethal. He'd cut the ring off and bang Lara to the arms and body for 4/5 rounds and then knock him out when he started to slow down. Not much of a fight. Lara has no chance.
Boring fight. Manny was never in it. Roach looks like an idiot saying that Mayweather's legs were gone.
Another thing: Mayweather's height and reach were key factors. I now think that Khan would have a shot because he's taller.
I predict that the gutter-creature known as Mayweather, will, five years after his boxing career, be picking butts out of the garbage cans of Vegas. Everyone knows that his an absolute sucker for betting in Vegas. He's a prime customer.
As such, he gets whatever he wants in the town. I thing he engineered Pacquiao's loss, by referees, to Bradley. Now, he knew damn well that Pacquiao was injured before the fight and probably let it be known that if the fight was cancelled, there would be no future date. Pac had to go through with the fight. And I believe Pac when he says the Mayweather was pulling on his arm in some very funny looking clinches.
Pacquiao is not blameless in what happened, but Mayweather is a despicable character. His opportunistic attack on Ortiz typifies his whole character.
Unfortunately, the biggest money is to fight in Vegas, but everyone knows that the most rigged scorecards are found there, too. Luckily, this fight won't go the distance. Kov is going to carve him a new won and Ward will retire with all his cash and stories of how he won this one, too.
Most Ward-sters don't know a thing about boxing. Ward ran the whole fight. He lost by atleast 3 points. Remember that Kovalev made Hopkins look like a baby. The only reason Ward got the decision is because that arthole, Mayweather, paid off the judges. (Just like he did against Pacquiao in Bradley's first fight.)
