You're waisting your time bro. That's a arguement you can't win. You're speaking from a boxers perspective as if what you would do if in Floyd's shoes. Truth is, nobody cares. There is people on here who spend 12 hours per day debating boxing. They're couch potatoes but they're also die hard boxing fans. They don't care.
They want to see Cotto-Mayweather and they want to see it now.
And to answer your question. Yes I'll fight Oscar for 50 million. Hell I'll fight Mike Tyson right now and get knocked out for a couple mill. Money talks. Every couch potato in here could use a good paycheck. But they do not care about Floyd's economic money making decisions. They're fans. So stop yourself.
Yo Homo, Golden Boy would take your punk ass out.
Dadon you seem like a pretty smart person, so why would you respond to someone who made such a dumbass statement?
why would you be all up in floyd's junk without a proper foundation?
he's real good about picking his opponents. selective in fact. he doesn't have the goods to take on the elite in the class he's in so he's bebopping around all over the place talking a buncha shit while making himself look like a dope.
You do know that Allan Green is gay right?
QUOTE=vladimir303;2683429]Now I'm not saying he is not a great fighter. He is but people are so pumping him up now that he is retired and most of them only saw Youtube highlights of him and parrot what other people are saying about him. I just had to say this after I read the "who is better, floyd or pernell" thread. Pernell is being so pumped up high it kind of reminds me of the The Mike Tyson hype train that when at his best.......he was unbeatable. Anyway this isn't about Tyson it's about Pernell and being compared to Floyd mayweather.
Floyd is obviously better. Yes I said obviously and let me explain. Floyd's defense is better for longevity. Pernell's defense was great too but it was totally different and it worked based on pure reflexes and athleticism. Once he got older his defense wasn't as effective anymore . Smoking Crack didn't help either. Floyd's defense would work even when he is past his prime just like Hopkins's and Winky's defense.........It's more based on fundementals then natural ability.
Offense......again floyd is a lil better overall. More punching power then pernell even as he keept moving up in weight. Pernell was always on a Pauli Malinaggi, Cory spinks level of punching power.
And let's not forget the overall phisique....Floyd is 5'8 with 72" reach and Pernell is only 5'6 with a 27" reach. A great big boxer always beats a great little boxer. Pernell with his reach and height would have to have a totally different style to bother floyd.
