I'm extremely impressed with Floyd's incredible performance and also impressed with the way he conducted himself in the post fight interviews. He was a class act and deserves all the credit in the boxing world...
I agree as much as i wanted hatton to win and as much as floyd usually runs his mouth he gained some of my respect tonight by giving hatton credit, i hope he doesn't retire though, i want to see a cotto, williams or marg fight.
lmao, nice one.
So do you think this fight helps convince people that Mayweather can very well fight on his back leg just like his front?
I think it should show that he is not always the runner everyone makes him out to be, i think that is a negative perception that floyd haters have put on him, he has been the agressor in many fights and people ignore that. For example he was the agressor in the zab judah fight and in the early rounds of castillo mayweather 1
.. He couldn't, most of the fight was either fought in the middle of the ring or with Hatton pushing him into the ropes.
yeah i agree i don't think he ran, he was pressured into the ropes a lot of the fight and held his ground, maybe in the earlier rounds he moved a bit more waiting to potshot but i wouldn't say he ran
i'd love to see the fight too i think the volume of punches williams throws could do damage against mayweather but after tonights victory its hard for me to bet against money may.
as much as i like berto it wouldn't happen as someone mentioned its too early in his career, i think williams, cotto and margarito all have legitmate shots, even though i don't like him after tonights fight it would be hard for anyone to beat money may.
paul williams volume and speed could give money may some problems, cotto is solid, they bot deserve a shot, cotto more so if they could beat money may is another story though.
i think it was castillo winin by 1 point
ps: did u lose 250 points on hatton too lol? i betted more out of hope then brains lol
actually i remeber now i did haha i did it the first day i registered on hope i guess so i am a dumbass, i didn't remeber it and i have no idea what vcash does it seems that people bet points more than that so i was confused im still not sure how to bet points
115-111 for Castillo. I mean he gave rounds 3 and 10 to Castillo. Mayweather was winning most of the round in 3 and Castillo does a mini flurry that barely lands and he wins the round? Then in round 10 he gives it to Castillo when for most of the round Mayweather was landing huge punches that were landing on Castillo.
I don't want to go into the who won, but giving those 2 rounds to Mayweather would have atleast made it a draw. And he could have scored round 5 for Castillo and then have it 114-112 for Castillo if anything.
I had it 114-112 for Mayweather with him winning the first 4 rounds, losing 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12. Close fight though.
yeah it was a close fight i had it 114-112 for castillo but i can see it going either way, so im not one of those who says that floyd absolutly lost the fight, but i thought the margins by the judges were off, it was a really close fight, but i get why people hate on lederman he has some wack cards
You know, maybe I did overreact a little bit lol. So all jokes aside, I give Hatton props for keep coming forward and getting up from that first knockdown. He put up a good fight, but in the end Floyd was too good for him, just like he's too good for anyone out there. (I'm hoping for a Mayweather vs. Williams bout when he returns to the ring)
yeah i'd love to see williams vs money may
i think it was castillo winin by 1 point
ps: did u lose 250 points on hatton too lol? i betted more out of hope then brains lol
oh yeah i had the castillo fight close too but i've seen lederman have some shitty cards, his voice cracks me up though, and if you were asking me no man im relativly new here i don't know how to bet, if i did i would have been a dumbass on hope and went for hatton too, mayweather really earned my respect tonight
I respect them both. However, Hatton is a genuine, down to earth dude and THAT is why he has this CULT-LIKE FOLLOWING.
Floyd is wishy washy...one day he's respectful, the next day he's back to being the dumbass ebonics speaking black man from the hood...now you all know why Floyds fans are never older then 16 (except in Dios' case).
Stop being shitty winners...
Stop with the LMAOs.
Stop with the "I TOLD YOU MOTHER FUCKERS SO!"
Stop with all of that shit. Our guy won, their guy lost... do you all really have to fucking antagonize them in order to enjoy the victory?
I know I don't... I know Skils doesn't, and I know Dios doesn't. (I'm sure there are a few others that I missed)
So, to everyone acting like a cunt to Hatton fans... please stop.
I couldn't agree more, although i was proud of floyd he gave ricky some credit, more so than i've ever seen him do with another fighter i respect floyd more because of that, and even though i wish hatton had won their is no denying that floyd is p4p king, i hope he doesn't retire i want to see him fight cotto, or williams or margarito.
i'd say they were both gracious floyd earned even more of my respect by complimenting hatton the fight, it was class the way they both showed graciousness, one in defeat the other in victory.
why is this even a question of course hes a true champion, hes p4p king, sure i'd like to see him fight cotto, williams marg but to say hes not a true champion is ridiculous
I had respect for mayweather before the hatton fight but after it he gained so much more of my respect he was gracious in his victory he gave proper praise to hatton and was very classy during the end of the fight.
