Maybe he accepts Hatton gave him his toughest fight to date. Hatton was certainly in the lead on points for a few rounds. I've seen the fight twice now and Hatton on 2nd viewing did very very well.
Hatton made it a physical fight but he wasnt landing any punches
how was he leading at any point in the fight?
he got beaten at his own game
i could honestly give hatton a round or 2 at best
hatton fought his fight as far as tempo but couldnt do any damage
You have no idea on how to read people. Hatton wasn't so gracious in defeat at all.
haha ok i have the whole board agreeing with me, but u always have to be the odd 1 out..
he even kissed hatton, thats not something u would expect of floyd.
How many Floyd fights have you actually watched? He does that after ever fight. It's nothing new for Floyd. People like you buy into his pre fight hype way too much.
Now if only the British fans at the MGM had class the night would've been even better.
Yep. Booing during the national anthem showed just how much class British fans have. I'm so glad Hatton had his ass handed to him!!!
He was very gratious in defeat and showed how much class and dignity he has.
good on him.

Hatton didn't appear to be that gracious after defeat, tbh. Yeah he gave credit, but not that much. I think more or less he was still recovering from the shock of the defeat. I was surprised he didn't sound off about Kojack-as the man in the middle was horrible. Talked too much and kept breaking things up. Horrible ref.
i'd say they were both gracious floyd earned even more of my respect by complimenting hatton the fight, it was class the way they both showed graciousness, one in defeat the other in victory.
I think we have had a few great sportsmen this past year who showed tremendous grace in defeat: Rafael Marquez, Mosley, Kessler. Hell even Tzu showed great sportsmanship when he lost to Hatton.
But Hatton has always shown class in his wins. I especially liked the way he took Kellerman's pestering in stride and dedicated the Castillo fight to Corrales' widow.
