Solis got up before the count of ten. He was up at 7, but then the ref spotted him limping and stopped the fight. All of a sudden it is "Vitali knocked out Solis" "Solis was beaten". I don't accept those arguments because they are not true. Vitali did not KO Solis.

I have calculated the round: Solis 0:12 left to the face 1:01 overhand right 1:22 left hook Klitschko 2:24 right to the body 2:55 right to the head (I have watched carefully, Solis' glove doesnt' block) Solis seemed to be the more dangerous, so he might get a favour because of aggression. Vitali couldn't get a jab through. I will leave what happened after the last punch landed to other threads, but IMO Solis was taking round 1.

It will be on 8PM in New Zealand, which is 2AM EST. Does anyone know of one? EDIT: 2AM EST is when the show started. There has to be undercards too. I suspect 3AM-4AM EST is when the main bout will happen.

I was watching Mike Tyson-Ribalta there, and Tyson weigh in at a career low of 213lbs. He was as lean as any of Pacquiao/Mayweather/Bradley at their leanest. Do you think he would have added a couple of pounds between weigh in and fight night? There is no catch weight for the heavyweights, but he was just as lean as any other boxer in a weight class who would put on some weight. Does anyone have a stable stream for the Khan-Maidana fight?

He is my favourite boxer. Ray Austin got beat by Vitali 3 years ago in the 2nd round and has knocked out 4 lowly opponents since then. Odlanier will KO him in less than 6. When Odlanier fights Klitschko, it will be an eternity from a 12 round jabfest which Vladimir takes by wide UD. I personally think Odlanier can beat him, if not a very late KO. (11, 12th round) Odlanier would have to be at the pinnacle of his boxing game to win the championship though. He has the spark though.

Look at the heavyweights, there is an even bigger size difference there. Joe Frazier knocked out Buster Mathis who weighed 43lbs more, Floyd Patterson knocked out fighters 20lb more than him. 15-20lbs is negotiable, it is definitely not too much.

Like Roberto Duran going up against SRL, 71-1. He would get 30 more wins, but 1 defeat would be thrown in. 71-1 is a lot better than 40-0 IMO. But maybe Mayweathers undefeated record is all he wants? It doesn't guarantee greatness IMO though. Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Robinson have all tasted defeat, but are great boxers.

Shaq is 7 foot 1, a foot over Sonny, but Sonnys are so damn big for his size. I have not seen a figure for Shaqs.

All these boxers brag about being "3 time champion" ala Holyfield, even Ali. IMO holding it once throughout your entire career like Louis or Marciano is better than holding it multiple times. 4 times champion isn't something to brag about IMO.
