Wow, I really believe you are blind. First of all, I AM a Pac fan. Second of all, if you seen the Mosley-Mayweather fight and hasn't impressed you with his defense and workrate, you're just a Floyd hater. You need to stop jumping on Pac's nuts.
Why do you think Mayweather is scared? He just proved that he's one of the top dogs after beating Mosley (#2 P4P) with incredible fashion. After watching this fight, Mayweather looks like he's the one to beat. Accept it. You may think P4P title belongs to Pac, but Mayweather only lost that top spot because he "retired."
Pacquiao wants the cutoff days at 24 days once again. His excuse for not having it so close to the fight this time is because he's at a disadvantage of being smaller than Mayweather. I don't buy it. He knocked out Miguel Cotto and dominated Clottey so apparently size is not an issue for Pac right? (That's what Pac's retarded fans said).
I like Pacquiao. But if he doesn't take these tests, he will forever be questioned about being clean until he proves otherwise. If Mayweather could agree to a $10 mill per pound penalty (which is pretty ridiculous), Pacquiao should be able to take random blood tests leading up to the fight. He needs to man up and take those tests at a reasonable date. Real talk.
I see berto's speed giving mosley trouble, remember, mosley is getting up there in age and his reflexes are diminished.
That's true, but I still believe he has the abilities to give Berto a run for his money. Mosley will most likely win...
There's an interview from the Philippines where they asked his thoughts on Mayweather. I'd post the URL, but I don't have 15 posts yet, lol. He said "He's good, but not that good." He also said along the lines of he wants the fight to happen to prove he's a force to be reckoned with.
Yeah, I agree with the post above. He needs utilize his speed and punching power in order to gain the upper hand on Mayweather. His defense needs to improve as well. I think strategically, body shots would be key in allowing Floyd to lower his guard. But you never know...these fighters have the ability to switch styles during the fight.
How about the winner of Pac vs May face Mosley? And unify the titles. Everything is perfect right now when it comes to Pac vs May, no need to mess it up. Arum said the same.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Mosley is a fighter everyone is overlooking. People tend to forget that this dude is still a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention he is a real threat to Mayweather.
You mean Pac fought another left handed slugger and ducked a slickster? well what a surprise!! , the fact is Manny ran his mouth about Floyd to the pinoy press but then doesn't have anything to say when he's in the states!!.. like i said THE MAN IS NERVOUS!!.
Nervous? He already told the LA Press that he wants to fight Mayweather. It's so ridiculous how people come up with conclusions like that. Mayweather is scared of Pac. Pac is scared of Mayweather. All BS. All hype. It's stupid shit.
ALT ass mother f*cker
take a break from this??? but this is your first post... so apparently there's nothing to take a break from!
My first time posting doesn't mean I haven't been reading everything that's going on this site. You getting worked up over a first post?:asshole:
Anyway, I do believe SSM would be a better contender for both. I think SSM would probably win for both because, like someone previously mentioned, he has an iron chin and he's versatile. Not to mention as aggressive is Pacquiao.
I'm a Pac fan, but not to the point I'm on his jock. You made some really logical points here, which is why I believe Mayweather doesn't get the respect or credit he deserves. Styles make fights. Pacquiao might have a lot more trouble with Mayweather because he's an incredible counter-puncher, which is one of Pacman's most difficult styles to fight against. But then again, he improved tremendously from fights against JMM and Erik Morales. I think it would be a pretty even fight.
You do know there's a difference between style and range. Mosley likes to hit hard and hit often. Which is exactly what Pacquiao would like to do more effectively against Mosley. Just up at a closer range that would make Mosley uncomfortable. as opposed to floyd's style of hoppin on his bike and letting mosley come to him and potshotting.
I don't think there's anything wrong with Floyd's strategy because it's his gameplan to win a fight. He may not be the most entertaining fighter to watch. However, his defense is impeccable and he does do whatever it takes to win a fight. Wouldn't you want to figure out a way to have a gameplan to gain the upper hand against your much more powerful opponent? I sure as hell would, especially with my undefeated streak on the line.
I still believe he's clean (with a cloud of suspicion). Some people can say that he contadicts himself because he may not comprehend the question well enough to come up with a credible answer. However, a part of me is thinking that some of his answers are rehearsed.
God bless Berto for what he's doing. People around the world need to be more like him and help out. I donated some money to Haiti. A little contribution wouldn't hurt to those who haven't done so yet.
lol.......doesnt work like that son..
never failed a test before, never been seen doing them....but his next opponent's Father says he's on them and now he is forever linked? lmao,,,,,,,,
As a Pacquiao fan myself, I've used this argument numerous times. I still agree with your statement. However, there are ways of cheating the tests. This article made me see it from another perspective from the guy responsible for steroids himself:

I'm not saying Pacman's on it. I'm just saying there are some possibilities. I hate to say it, but the only solution now to save his reputation and his credibility as a top fighter is to go through with the random testing.
Clear name was easy job , say test no prob for honorable champion when first ask , why make big noise for such formality thing , court no clear name , Manny is over cooking himself and blame all other people , Manny making big mistake in way handle this little test
PLEASE find a translator. It's hard for anyone to get what you're saying...
great welters, you are a moron if you think they are all welters but they are ae top all time greats in prime , i also forgot sosa, ndou and the big show, great welters i cant wait till floyd challenges bernard and knocks bernard out cause floyd fears no one, bernard fears floyd, lol, nyahahahahahaha me and you know hopkins dont stand a chance with floyd, hopkins will get kod by floyd in round 9, lol, nyahahahahahaha
LOL @ you adding The Big Show to that list.
DLT, I respect your opinion, so I will disregard what Arum has been saying. I will only go by facts.
The mediator said 24 days which is fact. How could Arum know that the former Federal Judge, the Mediator, will rule 24 days? It doesn't matter if thats what Arum planned all along, but the Mediator said 24. The thing that killed the mediation is that Mayweather said no, and ended the negotiations. My point is that because Floyd was unwilling to even give an alternative that would work for him killed the fight.
The man's got a point. In my opinion, I think 24 days is still a little too far away. If Floyd offered another alternative rather than flat out reject this offer, it would've put Manny in the position of deciding if the fight goes through or not. 2 weeks does seem reasonable. He should have negotiated with that offer or something.
Mosley is the toughest competitor in the welterweight division in my opinion. It's a shame that he's not getting as much recognition as Pacquiao and Floyd.
As for the meeting, I have a feeling they're probably gonna need a lot more time dealing with the details to make this fight happen considering what a mess this has become.
I totally agree with Diego Corrales vs JLC match. That 10th round was simply INSANE! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to watch Sithchatchawal-Monshipour match.

I think you better have to read this...
Right after the fight would be sufficient enough to detect if Pac is using steroid or not but how come mayweather turned it off..
The problem with this article is that it's biased. The title itself isn't a credible source to gather legit information.
I admire Brian Viloria's work ethics. I also respect him for his compassion towards his opponents and other fighters. I had the chance to meet him since we grew up in the same neighborhood. Hope he continues to succeed in the near future.
Spoken like a true champ. Mosley has a good heart. What Margarito did was wrong. Everyone gets that. But a lifetime ban? That's sort of absurd, don't you think?
As a fan of the sport, I'm very disappointed at how this was handled. I thought it was a done deal. I'm not paying to see a Pacquiao-Malignaggi or Mayweather-Hatton fight.
In all fairness, I think it's safe to say that both Pacquiao and Mayweather's camp is to be blamed for this.
