I have been noticing articles about Roberto Duran bashing Mayweather. I don't understand what he has against Mayweather.
He probably looked up some Mayweather fights on youtube and thought wtf? this bull****e is what they call PFP nowadays...and then he got mad.
Frankly I don't understand the obsession with Floyd and this unbeatable persona...The guy has little power at 147 and above, has good wheels and top notch defense but he ain't putting a hurting on anybody.
Canelo has a good chance due to good boxing and good power. It's a good fight.
It doesn't seem to me you buy your own argument. I agree Canelo doesn't have serious KO power but his size combined with decent boxing does give him the potential to put some pressure on Mayweather, especially if he goes to the body.
I do think Mayweather might get away with pot shotting Canelo to a victory but it will be much more interesting than than you make it out to be.
along with what he said, notice when B-hop fights he doesn't waste any motions, uses every trick in the book (old school boxing at it's finest) and he makes his opponent fight at a slower pace, less punch output, etc..
and all that criticism toward JMM came from Pac fans.
You know that's where Hopkins longevity comes from...his fighting style. Just and old school scrapper that knows how to slow the pace and make other fighters fight his style.
But what pisses me off is that it was not just the Pac fans that were slinging crap at Marquez it was the general media consensus. By their standards BHop should be PED suspect number 1 but everyone is mum.

Foreman had Melindo winning by 1 round, the other commentators thought the score cards were bogus.
I got no problem if people want to call it a close fight, then pick there fighter, but to say Estrada clearly won is so b/s man, bet half the people commentating didn't even watch the fight or just let Estradas last 2 rounds win there feeble minds over.
Estrada has willpower I'll give you that. But technique, footwork, defense, combination punching all belonged to Milendo until he gassed.
Melindo was outboxed and then he got a beatdown the last two. Game fighter but melindo was lucky to walk out on his own two feet.
