9-3 is bad....but how could anyone score this for Lara??? Lara won 3 of the first 4 rounds, but won probably 2 rounds after that. He literally ran around flicking his jab, throwing no significant punches the last 2/3 of the fight. And while Canelo didn't light it up....he landed some good body shots and pushed the fight. Canelo won 115-113 I'm a Lara fan but it's damn funny to see the blatant bias against Canelo on here. He won the fight, beat Lara when many many many said he'd get taken to school.

Paulie said it best a few rounds maybe Lara was running but bottom line he controlled the pace of the fight made Canelo miss more often and established his ring generalship for a majority of the fight in my opinion Roth and Farhood had it exactly right 115-113. Even Paulie said he had Lara as winner. Anyone who says "u can't win a fight by running. It's called Boxing, if that's the care then what was Ali ? Just a marathon runner as well? This judging BS especially when Canelo is involved (114-114 mayweather card) needs to stop. That's what's killing this great sport. If any of you that think Canelo really won 117-111 or even 115-113 for that case I would love to know how many times you have been in a boxing match bc everything every coach has taught me when I was a fighter was exactly what Lara did. Whether or not you want to admit it, body punches scored for Canelo and they were hard combinations to the body too. Taking 10 steps then a 1-2, over and over and over and over again wasn't going to win him the fight. After all he talked, he barely did anything.
