Hi guys and gals, I hope all is well. I remember a few years back I'd not schedule any activity on fight night, Tuesday's and Friday's used to be cards on the USA and ESPN channels, not to mention the Sunday's afternoon of Worldwide of Sports, I didn't miss any of them, for the past two or three years I find my self not interested on fights not even involving fighters I like and follow. For me is the lack of real big fights and the alphabet soups not enforcing their own rules, fighters commanding big purses without taking any risk and I think this trend started with Floyd, and for the past four or five years canelo taking it to a new level. What do you guys think?

Some how Morell jr. Vs ryder is off. Although Morell Jr still set to fight mario caserez June 27 on Fox/PBC FIGHT NIGHT. Hopefully it is not another case "of high risk low rewards(ryder not facing the young prospect)" type of issue. Cubans fighters has suffered that issue too many times already. I think this kid is for real and not looking for gimmicks. Stay safe.

A new young Cuban boxer fought for the fourth time last night. Yoelvis "la joya" Gomez. Son of the legendary Olympic Gold medallist Jose Gomez. He won again by KO. Seems to me tha he inherited his father's power and aggressiveness, he should harness the latter's. Like Morell this is a kid that boxing fans should follow. Stay safe

Why hasn't anyone mention the difference in weight between Lara vs vanes? there is a lot of people here fixated with weight, catch weights, promotional contracts, don't bring nothing to the table, etc... If I recall correctly Lara only gained 7.7 lbs and vanes weighted over 170, is it correct?
