Wilder for sure has more punching power. He's a top 3 heavyweight and he's not even that good of a boxer; his punching power alone got him to where he's at.
His first post since 2013
Not a bad post but what got you off your ass to make this big move
7 years and now a catch weight

Finally remembered my password :boxing:
If you are the fighter with slower hand speed what good does it do you getting into range were someone can fire off combinations at you?
Let me ask you. If you have more reach than your opponent what good does it do if you give that up and only decide to fight close range? A shorter arm in a short distance will reach its target first.
The same goes with hand speed. If GGG and Canelo both throw lead hooks in range who's do you think will hit first?
GGGs best range is mid range right at the end of his jab. With Canelo refusing to give up ground where do you think GGG would have gone?
The outside.
And LOW IQ people make a big deal out of this. You use what tools you have to win a fight and fighting stupid isnt how you win.
Well said. I'd also like to add, at the end of round 7 Abel Sanchez told GGG to stay in the pocket with Canelo. When GGG came out in round 8 he followed Abels advice and ate a bunch of counters.
This was a crucial part of the fight, GGG had built up some considerable momentum at that point. I understand the fear of getting robbed, but GGG was hurting Canelo, I don't know why Abel couldn't see that.
True talk, high school diploma doesn't mean much at the moment in terms of education. If you want to further your education down the road, it's always a possibility and there wouldn't be many obstacles.
But one thing that you will miss and can NEVER get a shot at again, is the experience of being a high school kid. People find connections and build social skills during these times, as well as learn about themselves. And whats better than being surrounded by girls your age who are as sexually curious as you are? Trust me, this kind of dynamic is never offered ever again.
Who the hell is DK yoo? If it wasn't for the ref saving his ass, manny would've dusted him. I guess you can't really blame him for holding onto manny for dear life, but to bust out an ali shuffle when you're getting your ass handed to you? Disgrace of a "martial artist". DK poo more like it, what a shit show.
He's trying too hard, looking for the big knockout. Where was his jab last night? He's predictably in his attacks and becoming an easy read. The guy's got all the talent in the world, speed power and reflexes, but he's not applying any of it in a meaningful manner. His fight IQ is low and his father is shitty trainer. It's not too late for him but I'll echo what everyone in here is saying, he needs a new trainer and needs to get in a better head space. The takeover needs a makeover.
Ortiz had better ring generalship, dictated pace, threw more and landed more. The two flash KO's made the fight close on paper, but flash KO's don't hold much weight in the eyes of people who know what they're watching.
Valenzuela won for sure, but they gameplanned pitbull. Robert Garcia is a great mind and he must have studied Pitbulls tendencies and came up with a way to counter his advances. They nullified all his attacks, but couldn't do much damage either, still they got the victory. If Pitbull is capable of adapting and adjusting to Valenzuela it will be impressive and put him amongst the current elites. I definitely want to see a rematch.
