Both powerful guys but they seem powerful in different ways how would you compare them in that aspect?

Wilder has fought elite competition at all times in his career except for that Bum Fury.
For some strange reason the elite guys were put to sleep while the Bum Fury took a few punches straight in the face in the second fight but oddly enough laughed about it and made our Prince, our hero and the best HW on the planet DW, a rag doll.
His first post since 2013
Not a bad post but what got you off your ass to make this big move
7 years and now a catch weight

Wilder for sure has more punching power. He's a top 3 heavyweight and he's not even that good of a boxer; his punching power alone got him to where he's at.
Well said.

- -One a 3rd millennium unified great and the other a coddled Haymon boytoy.
Easy $
A.J hits harder anyone that understands fight mechanics can see even Joshuas medium punches do more damage then Wilders ,unless Wilder is swinging Like he’s at bat in a home run derby .
Fury will bully AJ to the corner and whip him, forcing the refs hand.
So are you going to do a ban bet with Redeemer ? Breazeale got up just about on the count between 9 and 10 and was staggered just as the count went to 10 on his feet ? No your not and it’s because you don’t want to get banned ,you have to be a specialist kind of stupid to tell anyone he didn’t get up,it’s on video ,the nut case Marciageno even posted it thinking it helped you out but it doesn’t you not with. Lol
I don't do ban bets because I don't want people banned, unless they threaten me or something. I just ignore them if they're loons.
And no, staggering to your feet while the ref waves you off is not "getting back up"
Continuing with the fight is "getting back up"
The fight didn't continue, therefore he didn't "get back up".
Like I said, the guy didn't die, so he did "get back up" in the loosest meaning of the term, as do most boxers who get stopped, but he was unable to continue, which is what matters here.
Marchiagno gets that, but you and that loon Redeemer apparently don't know what "getting back up" means.
Wilders straight right is much more powerful than any single punch AJ has, but Joshuas hooks, uppercuts and bodyshots are nastier than Wilders.
This guy gets it
Wilder hits drastically harder than the british (lowercase "b") hypejob and it isn't a surprise nor competition.
Keep aj away from bums like Andy Ruiz and his career will be safe. *He was exposed last year when he got decimated by a last minute cherrypick ranked outside the top 20/that didn't have a training camp/that had very physical disadvantage in the books.*
Unlike the former reigning KING, who only loss to the next best Heavyweight out there, a guy who previously dethroned Klitchko.
They are both vying for 1st place. Losing only made Wilder the #2 guy. AJ losing to ranked #30 Ruiz with all those other conditions aforementioned made AJ drop down to #5.
He still needs the trilogy with Andy. (He's ducking that)
He still needs to prove he's better than Ortiz. (He's been ducking that for years)
But I'm certain after Pulev gives him the fight of his life idiots from the british isles will be exalting Pulev as some sort of legendary monster.
You misunderstand - I was making the distance thing about Molina because of the reverse with AJ/Breazeale. Sorry, didn't make that clear.
Again, we are wandering into quality of opponent territory, which is a whole different debate here.
AJ stopped Whyte. IMO, that is better than anyone that Wilder has. Then you have Wlad. Unless Wilder starts upping his credible opponents (because his comparable resume to AJ is 3-1-1, IMO. Thats Ortiz twice, Breazeale and then the Fury fights) he will always have a padded resume and a short list of fighters who are actually worthy of mentioning. Yes, he put Fury down but Steve Cunningham did that, so...
I guess the debate is subjective. I really respect Wilder's power, its undeniable but he's far too limited compared to AJ. Thats why I give this to Joshua.
Quality of opponents doesn’t always translate into punch power though man. Wladimir was (and I emphasise was when AJ fought him) a great Heavyweight but he never had a great chin. If Wilder landed those same shots on Wlad, he’d have likely been unconscious.
AJ beat Whyte in a british title fight, nowhere near as good a win as Stiverne or Ortiz who were both Top 5 ranked HW’s when Wilder beat them. Whyte was unranked when AJ beat him. That’s not subjective, that’s factual.
Wilder and AJ are kind of 2A, 2B for me behind Fury who’s the clear #1. It’s debatable who’s a better fighter, who has the better win or wins, but in terms of who hits harder it’s clearly Wilder based on the evidence we have seen.
Um, Dominic Breazele absolute did not "get back up" from wilder :lol1:
Haye has never sparred Joshua , breazeale was knocked quicker by wilder but moline was smashed far quicker by AJ so what’s your point.
Joshua has KO power in both his hands , has good balance , has left hook , right hook , right cross , uppercut ....and wilder has a giraffe punch that’s it and that’s why that one trick pony got blitzed by fury and would get blitzed by aj inside 4 rounds.
Wilder is a bum and will never win a world title again
The distance it went is irrelevant. You could make the exact same counter argument about Brezeale.
Wilder left both those laying from one punch, whilst AJ stopped them with a barrage of shots.
AJ doesn’t really knock people out, he stops them from a barrage of punches. Besides Whyte who has completely iced the way Wilder has iced Stiverne, Brezeale, Molina, Ortiz, Szpilka, Liakovich, etc. I genuinely can’t think of anyone else AJ has cleanly sparked out, can you?
Wilder clearly hits harder, it’s not even debatable.

Breazeale most certainly did not "nearly beat the count" against Wilder. He didn't even try to get up until the 8 count.
If the ref had immediately waved the fight off, nobody would have complained, it was that brutal.
Wilder has more power in that big straight right than Joshua but AJ hits plenty hard enough to get the job done and has a much better arsenal of attacks and he can box.
But line them up on a punch bag machine and allow them a run up and Wilder takes it.
