I like David Haye, but he just lost a lot of credibility here. How the heck could he turn down a 50/50 split with the current champs? The more he talks, the more I think he is really too afraid to get in the ring with the Klitschko's. He just sounds dumber and dumber. I agree with Mike Tyson too though, that he should first fight Ibragimov, Peter, Arreola, Povetkin, and a few others before he gets a shot at the Klitschkos, but now it seems he wants to retire in a year, so this won't happen. I don't know what the heck he wants to do. I think he is trying to set it up so he doesn't ever have to fight them and continue with excuse after excuse to justify it...
Kinda like Manny Pacquiao's excuses for not taking the drug test a year ago...

I agree... The closer this fight gets, the more certain I am that Khan will simply outbox Marcos. Maidana does have the power to rip his glass chin, but the way Roach has Khan sticking to the gameplan, I don't think that's going to happen. Boxers over Punchers all day...

If Floyd's defense was so overrated against those three or four fighters you mentioned he would've lost to them.
And, his true gift was being a smarter fighter than the others he faced. He knew what to do, and how and when to do it.
You guys hit it right on the BUTTON! His style is so tight that he sometimes will use offense as defense and visa-versa...I don't think he was more defensive or more offensive on purpose, but he uses what works best.
Also, He fought champions in those 5 weight classes; so the fact that there may not have been many super-huge names in those weight classes is not his fault...He beat who he had to beat, and he looked GREAT doing it!
In my opinion, he is the BEST fighter Alive at this point in time! Best P4P with very fast hands (which he can choose to use as defensive weapons or offensive weapons) depending on what his opponent falls for easier.
In regards to defense, I don't think Mayweather Jr. is over-rated in the least...He hits without getting hit often, and that is the magical meaning of boxing in my eyes....Hit without being hit! Many other boxing purists don't appreciate this type of fighting and they would rather have a person BARELY win a fight than a landslide victory (ie. gatti vs. ward as apposed to mayweather vs. baldomir or any other opponent he decision win)....
And as the last poster has stated...His true talent is his smarts...he knows what to do to get the WIN in the "w" column no matter how boring or exciting it may be...AND STILL be the "pretty boy" at the end of the fight.

Paul Williams should be on the P4P list as well...especially for holding titles in 2 different weight classes in the same year...as well as fighting and winning in 3 different weight classes by KO all in the same year! NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!

It just makes him look more guilty by not taking the test already. Mayweather is going to take the same test so they are both going to be going through the SAME THING which in my opinion makes it EVEN. Just agree to the test...Make 40 Million, have the biggest and possibly BEST fight of the Century and go about your business.
A court case is way more drawn out, embarrassing, and really pointless. If every boxer cried SLANDER every time an opponent said something about their legacy or livelihood then there wouldn't be any good fights left! Even if the Mayweathers and Golden boy are found guilty, then that still doesn't prove that Manny isn't on steriods. The only way for him to prove to the world that everything is legit with him is to agree to the test and fight the REAL p4p king to seal the legacy.
Manny is one of my favorite boxers and I personally don't think he is on steriods, but he should take the simple test to make everything right. Everyone knows urine tests can't find the new designer PED's and Pacman could easily be taking PED's without his knowledge. Ariza said himself that Pac doesn't know what he takes because he gives it all to him. Pacman wouldn't know what a PED looked like if it was right in front of his face. They even have Creams now.
I liked Pavlik a whole lot too and picked him to Beat Jermaine Taylor (as I think Edison Miranda would have done too at the time). Now it just seems like BULL$hit to me...Come on man...Espino is a challenge for Pavlik? I guess he is now as Pavlik is too scared to fight anyone since his Hopkins disaster. I like Sergio Martinez very much, but I'm getting tired of him calling out smaller guys just to get a paycheck and getting mad when they don't agree to fight him. I don't see Sergio calling out Super-Six people and that's only one weight class above his own. He needs to grow some balls of his own. He will only take chances now if its for a LOAD of money, but he won't go up to 168? I find that funny.
When I run all the scenarios of how this fight will play out...I just don't think Chad Dawson can beat Hopkins. It may be close in the beginning, but when Hopkins gets warmed up, Dawson will be made-to-order for Hopkins style. You'll see... Emanual Steward wouldn't have changed that.

I think Freddie Roach needs to shut the Hell up about the purse splits. Its obvious that Floyd must have already agreed to what the proposed split is and Arum was confident enough in the proposed split that he flew all the way to Manilla to present it to Manny. Not sure what that is, but he refused the test when Floyd gave him 50-50 split on all money. Pacman will never get that offer from Floyd again because no matter who Pacman faces, he won't be able to get the same draw that Floyd and Shane pulled earlier in the year.
