Middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, like many other people, is tired of the ongoing bickering, debates and stagnating negotiations to make a welterweight unification between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Martinez, who wants to fight either of the two welterweight champions, is so tired of the Mayweather-Pacquiao discussions that he doesn't want to hear about the fight unless the two sides reach a deal. As the weekened approaches, the two sides have a brick wall over the fight date. Mayweather has a reserved date of May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, while Pacquiao wants to fight at the end of May.
"Everybody, the public and the fans, are really getting tired already. On who's fighting who. Will Manny Pacquiao fight Mayweather, or will Mayweather fight him. I already gave up on that and I don't even want to be involved in anymore discussions on who's fighting who. I believe that it's time stop talking and to show action. If [Mayweather or Pacquiao] wants to fight with me, lets sit down and talk about the weight, the division and I will fight," Martinez said.
