:boxing:well hopefully someone ends up doing what they say because both men are talking mad s h i t. so these two f u c k s better not end up failing on that aspect, i want to see one of the two get knocked out silly and no 12 round decision non sense.:boxing:
Maidana is powerful, but he takes a lot of clear shots coming forward. Khan will outbox him and has plenty of power in his own right. Khan also has impeccable defensive skills as well as punching speed. He'll make Maidana look like a mismatch. The possibility always remains for an upset, but Maidana is a B level fighter with C level defense and A class power. Khan is yet to be really proven, but from what I've seen, looks to be at least an A- in all aspects. I predict a knockout of Maidana prior to the end of the 2nd round.
except for his chin you mean thats a D- lol! Hopefully he won't run from the Alexander/Bradley winner.
So basically he is definatley going for the knock out punch from the first bell. Gonna play into khans hands.
Precisely.
Maidana will be walking on to stiff lightning-fast jabs and right-hands from Khan. And with 8oz gloves and him walking on to Khan's punches, Maidana's gonna take a lot of punishment. His heads gonna be snapped back viciously with every jab. It's going to be brutal.
Everyone who fights Khan says that they didn't expect him to be as fast as he is. I think the same will happen here. Maidana will be in for the shock of his life and is going to have no answer for Amir's speed and jab. I also think EVERYONE is under-rating Khan's power.
Khan by TKO-11
Unfortunately for khan or Maidana for that matter, nether of these guys have a chance for a mega fight. You must be either Filipino or Mexican to qualify. Otherwise, you don't sell enough tix. In other words, neither of these guys is going that far.
It wont play in to Khans hands if Maidana is going for the KO straight away. Prescott knocked him out in 1 minute FFS. Different fighter and different trainer now but the chin is still the same. I'd do the same if I was Maidana. It IS the right tactic. Although I do contradict myself because obviously Khan could have him walking on to jabs all night.
an obvious ploy. maidana is a subtle and smart dude. keep underrating him people, we'll see.
That's how I see it. Every interview he's said something different. From I'm going to be patient and not look for the KO, the KO will come eventually to I'll be going for the KO at the first bell. The only common theme is that he expects a KO.
You're going to get outclass.
I agree... The closer this fight gets, the more certain I am that Khan will simply outbox Marcos. Maidana does have the power to rip his glass chin, but the way Roach has Khan sticking to the gameplan, I don't think that's going to happen. Boxers over Punchers all day...
:boxing:
the odds im seeing are pretty good on the fight.
if you straddle khan to win via points and maidana by stoppage you quids in on 90% of the sites i use and with the draw at about 35/1 thats easy to cover but unlikely to land.
the bookies are definately going for khan to win....im going for khan to win but i cant stop betting on maidana to knock him out as at 16/3 its just too good to refuse considering how easily khan collasped when prescott landed
if khan knocks him out which ive said could happen already on here then im fooked...im hoping it doesnt happen that way. for my pockets i hope maidana knocks him into oblivion!! LOL!:boxing:
the worst thing khan could have done was to fight paulie feather fist
because once he feels maidanos power he will be fighting off his back heels
and running
My prediction is sounding righter and righter with every interview
your grammar is getting badder and badder after every post.
I don't know how Khan is a 3-1 favourite for this fight. Its still a 50/50 imo, depends on how smartly Khan can box and how his chin has improved (if any) since prescott.
