Yeh i felt his trainer wasn't actually providing him with any actual instructions out there just implying that he should try for a KO (stating the obvious huh!)
He feel that he shouold take a rest cos he as been fairly active over the last 13 months then he some has one or two tune ups fights beore fighting at 168 but surely not against Calzaghe (im sure we all agree on that!)
Do you think the corner should have pulled him out?
I remember watching it last night between round 9 or 10 thinking this needs to get stopped then i re-watched just now and thought it should have been stopped by his corner earlier than that!
Incidently in an interview Calzaghe said that he thought it shouldn't have been stopped and if he's ever in Lacy's position then he wouldn't want to be stopped.
Anyone have any videos of Joe Calzaghe you can upload? I have a friend that thinks he is garbage, cause he is one of those Euro fighters who only fights in his hometown. He feels that Lacy is gonna walk right through him. Dont get me wrong I think Lacy will win, but told him it def wont be an easy fight for him. In fact I think it will be a great fight while it lasts.
:boxing:
Done the same thing to find out about Lacy and came to the conclusion that Calzaghe's reign as WBO champion is soon over and im British. Lacy's odds against in our bookies so i'll back it heavy.
Im from London and i'll tell that Williams vs Harrison received much more media coverage than this fight.
I don't know why but it weird cos now the only pay per view fighter we have is Hatton so you would think that a free unification fight would gain lots of attention but it just not the case.
