So Im watching ESPN Classic's Replay of Ali-Liston II, and I notice Ali's style is not much different from the style that causes many on the forums here to hate Floyd. If you watch the fight, Ali is skipping around the ring, avoiding punches, and pot shotting Liston when he gets an opening. Much like Mayweather's tactics in his last few fights. No he's not standing and trading, or throwing rapid combinations, instead there was a prime Ali boxing and taking his time with the heavier puncher. What do the haters have to say about that? Yall criticize Mayweather for running, but there you have one of the greatest heavyweights of all time using similar tactics.

Now before you guys bite my head off, just hear me out? Im all for consolidating some of the lower divisions (106-190), by eliminating the super and junior levels. But I truly think we need a supercrusierweight division. I mean why should a 6'2" 210 guy who grows out of cruiserweight have to fight someone 6'7" 260. I think we should make a supercruiserweight divison from (201-225) Whos with me?

Peter has so much potential, he has brutal power and a good fighting spirit, but for almost every fight he is overweight. For some reason he's fighting at 257, If he got down to 238 I think he could be great. Obviously he needs better guidance in training. Also Peter needs to learn better technique. If he had better technique he would have destroyed Klitschko

Heres an easy way that Boxers could fix this mess with all the sanctioning organizations. 1. Unify the Titles in all divisions, and if one sanctioning organization strips the unified champion of his title, then no one should fight for it (unrealistic option ) 2. All the boxers agree to only fight for one sanctioning organization, (while current champions work to unify) The boxers would simply not pay fees to any organization and not fight for any organization that was no the one agreed upon. So for example all the boxers agree to fight for the WBC, then all the other alphabet soup organizations would simply fall apart, or have to unify with the WBC

It Mayweather uses his jab, and follows his lead right with the left hook, and throws more than one puch at a time he will win, but he needs to do this from the start. Mayweather is faster and longer than cotto, and if he uses combinations he will win a decision, or maybe a late round ko, but if he throw one punch at a time, Cotto, will pummel him into the ropes, and make him his bitch
