At this point chavez isn't going to do crap and we all know that (Vacate)...but, i give Alvarez a fighter's chance ! I'd like to see him mature a little more but if that's the fight than so be it.
I think Brandon Rios would work KHAN over really nice. KHAN, is way to sloppy and his defense sucks...Rios, is coming along really smooth...and he's gonna be a pain in the butt for the 140 weight division.
I'm a hugh "Cotto" fan, and with the assumption that he cheated isn't going to clear anything. Cotto, would of lost that first fight regardless of the plaster or not. Maybe not so brutal but a sure lose or draw.
Now, the second fight was a one side fight and I feel that Cotto display an awesome plan to over come his opponent. Again, we can judge the fight on would have could of !
Do you think that laughing and coming forward was a tactical advantage of some sort that Margarito performed that night...Being effective laughing and coming forward is a whole lot more rerwarding, dont you think ! And we all know that wasn't the fact that night...I think that the general consensus is, if he beat "Cotto" that bad legitimately the first time than he should of been able to do the same or at least pull the (W).
Bro, I agree with the fact that he hasn't won a legitmate fight since that situation but there isn't any really proof (FACTS) that actually state he has cheated...we have to be careful how we express these types of situations.
If he fights Cotto, like he fought that chump Cintron its gonna be bad on his face and body ! Again, i think he's got the potiential to be one of the best...but not right now.
Young Canelo does have the experience to deal with Mayweather nor Cotto right, now. He needs to fight a few more boxer that have some good boxing skills, speed, and power...before he measures up to these guys. I like the kid but it isn't his time yet !
I don't think young Canelo is ready for either fighter at this point, however, a few fights in 2012 and he maybe an impressive fighter in the next few years to come.

This is a good tune up fight for "Cotto"...he needs to remain active. He doesnt need to knock "Mayorga" out either. All he needs to do is put the punches together and let it come naturally.
