I still favor Khan over Rios but Rios could give Khan HELL. And I really do mean, HELL. Rios is much more resilient than Lamont, stronger and is a better pressure fighter. Rios is definitely a better pressure fighter, but he doesn't have the same speed and reach that Lamont possesses. Rios won't fight Khan exactly the same as Peterson did, because the same openings that were there for Peterson, possibly won't be there for Rios.

Khan is too speedy and just a bit more powerful. rios should have 1 or 2 fights at 140 before khan, because his first fight at 140 vs khan, he might get killed..

Murray is a domestic class fighter from the UK, has no head movement, stands flat footed and is easy to hit and Rios was losing the early rounds. I think Rios is overrated by a lot of people. I wasn't impressed with his display against Murray. Sure, he messed up the guys face, but it was hardly a boxing lesson, he just won a war of attrition. Anyone has a shot at knocking someone out, but Rios isnt in the same class as Khan and does not have the punch power or punch resistance of Maidana. Khan is way too good for Rios at this point in time.

i think if Rios can ride the early storm for the first four rounds sure enough somewhere in the last four rounds he knocks Khan out, khans pop is all but gone after his early flurries and if you walk him down he crumbles, minus the cheating in the Peterson fight he would not have made it to the end.

did you think that before Khan lost to Peterson? I personally didn't, and in a sense, I'm still not sure Rios could beat Khan, but I do think he has a greater chance now. That's the beauty of boxing, one day we're dead on with our predictions, another day, we might look like we "don't know sh*t about boxing." None of this is written in stone, which is why we watch, isn't it?

Another example of people underestimating Peterson, it isn't just pressure that beats Khan, Peterson used pressure with a high level of skill, technique, strength and speed. And even then he was hurt, had to come through adversity, and arguably lost. For me Rios doesn't have that kind of overall package, he is a bully that will come unstuck at that kind of level, Rios can't just blow through khan. Don't get me wrong it's a fun fight, and a competitive fight, but let's him against a solid 140lber, putting on weight between fights don't mean ****, Ricky Hatton walked around at 170lbs but when he fought at 147 he didn't have anywhere the same advantage in strength Khan turns every fighter into a pressure fighter because they can't live with him on the outside, and he can't fight on the inside. He has a lot of improving to do.

I think rios has a great inside game. If he can make it a brawl I give him a big chance to beat khan.

khan gets taken out of his gameplan when he gets popped in the mouth and usually takes a couple rds to get back into his groove. that will kill him vs bam bam...

there must be a bomb ass restaurant around the corner, it hasn't even been two weeks since his last fight and his face has really filled out (and apparently, he's going to the gym). he's off the gym until the start of the year he goes there to hang out with Robert and the team not to train

I don't think they realize how many amateur boxers try to even make it pro. To surpass all of that and become WORLD CHAMPION!!!! It's sounds so stupid to call them "hype jobs" and "cowards".
