AWESOME video! Wanted to watch again but link is broken. Could you please repair the link or otherwise post a new link? I'm trying to show it to a buddy.
Cheato huggers are still in denial. Without illegal wraps in his hands, cheato's nothing but a typical come-forward guy with nothing to bring in the ring-- like an agressive rat whose teeth have been plucked out but still thinks he's the king of the sewers.
When it comes down to it both guys left a little some thing of them self that night. Margorito won the battle but cotto won the war.. Just give credit where credit is do
I agree both figers were damaged but Cotto had less damage. I mean he ran like a scalded dog for about 8 rounds against Pacquiao. Whereas Tony met Pacquaio head on for 12. Tony was also spent 2 seperate years out of the ring. Miguel got a couple of soft fights to regain his confidence and shake off the rust.
Who's fault is that ??? Margarito for be fawking retard its stupidity not pride bro. So your saying Margo was be lazy and sitting on the coach for full 13 months he was off. There were reports of him traing during his layoff. You know what cotto been doing during his layoff ??? He was to busy be fat and lazy Margorito was more prepared for this fight then Miguel ..

You mean face first, don't you? And at least Cotto lived to fight another day. Tony's "die in the ring" mentality cost him his career. Cotto has lots of options now. What's Tony got? His pride will be his demise...hell, it already has been, career-wise.
Disregarding the 3 years, beatings from Mosley and Pacquiao and serious eye damage of course....:pat:
I see what your trying to say your analogy is crap . Cotto went threw two major beating as well was in hospital for a week for both of them. You can say that pac soften cotto up for margarito.. As I see it both fighters went in even both got beaten badly both are damage goods.margarito is just stupid why didn't he keep his right hand a little higher ???:fu2:
Exactly. Miguel never did anything like that. He never came close to breaking Tony's spirit. Yet these Cotto huggers act like this was the revenge to end all revenges :lol1:
Pac couldn't even break his spirit. But he did break his orbital bone. Cotto avenged his loss fair and square. Tony said his eye was fine. Guess it really wasn't, was it...http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/mysmiliesvb/mysmilie_821.gif
Actually, his revenge couldn't be sweeter for Miguel, he left room in Tony's mind that he could have won that fight (which he wouldn't have) had it continued the full 12 rounds.
By the way, i wish no ill to Tony. What's in the past is in the past. This fight doesn't prove he cheated in the 1st fight, but it sure leaves room for doubt for people who do suspect he did. Personally, i think the long lay-off + Tony taking 2 brutal beatdowns and looking lackluster against Garcia played more a factor in him losing than "alleged loaded gloves", plus team Cotto corrected many flaws in his game plan.
He fought smart, not brawling with a bigger pressure-brawler, but boxing and turning Tony with lateral movement and staying off the ropes. Tony could have cut off the ring, but no, he didn't listen to his trainer who told him to, and just followed him around and got pot-shotted by a very elusive Cotto, who even pressured Tony, pushing him back and clinching when he had too.
Tony doesn't know how to box very well. He's mostly a come-forward volume pressure fighter, not a boxer. His defense sucks. He gets hit in the face too easy. Cotto didn't have a very hard time landing 86 shots to that eye that was also an issue for the (insert state boxing commish here) to give Tony a license to fight with such a bad eye injury.
Tony didn't even bother protecting it himself! He could have held his right hand higher, but he was too busy throwing it in the air, missing an always moving Cotto. Couldn't trap him on the ropes this time and bomb him with uppercuts like the 1st fight either. Cotto learned.
They were under a lot of pressure to grant that license. They didn't want to be responsible for a boxer permanently being blinded, when they were fully aware of Tony's eye issue. That's why they had one of their own doc's ringside, in case it looked like it might happen.
It almost did. They wanted to stop the fight in the 8th round. Tony was lucky to get the 9th. That eye will now always be an issue for Tony. All his opponents will target it, if he elects to continue fighting, but it's possible he might have problems getting licensed to fight in other states.
then he stoped laughing when pac broke his orbital bone and hurt him to the body
Yeah and cheato thought he would knock Pacquiao out. Not with normal gloves I guess.
Are you just gonna repeat what Im saying like a 14 year old girl?
Your post directly compared Pacquiaos win over Margarito to Cottos "win". I just wondered if you actually truly believed that they were comparable.
Be honest now
You are jumping to conclusions, I am not comparing wins. I was merely pointing out that taunting is something that cheato has employed in both his fight with Cotto and Pacquiao. Nothing more nothing less. Even a 14 year old girl will get that.
The first fight-- oh you mean when cheato was using illegal wraps. I don't think winning by cheating brings the right sense of satisfaction-- to a normal, law-abiding citizen of course, so I guess criminals like cheato are excluded.
Anyway cheato was also laughing at Pacquiao and taunting him when they fought, but that didn't help him either. Bottom line is that cheato lost in a fair fight.

Damn Cotto fans actualy think that win was comparable to Pcaquiao's win? :lol1:
Damn some Pacquiao fans think that Pacquiao is the greatest boxer ever. LOL
The only image I have from that fight is Margarito laughing at Cotto and taunting him the whole night. Bottom line is Margarito never stopped coming forward. I don't see why Cotto fans really find this win that satisfying. It was a legit win of course, but it's not like Cotto beat Marg into submission like Margarito did in their first fight.

That wasn't payback
Yeah right it wasn't payback, it was just, uhmm, revenge.
...he just worked the eye pac messed up.
So if we follow that line of thinking, then that means when Pac fought cheato, pac just worked on a chin that Mosley just recently cracked, which also makes Pac's victory over cheato a poor one. So that's one lousy line of thinking.
A win is a win, as long as it's fair and square.
Cotto can't beat anybody at 154 and not too many at 147.
He already beat 3 boxers at 154 and 7 boxers at 147.
Well, you made me download it, which I’m not grateful for. Secondly, the commentary you made at the beginning of the video (and throughout) sucked; if you’re going to make a highlight reel, don’t include your opinion – it makes you look like a fanboy (which was apparent, making it difficult to take the work seriously). As for the fight, you highlighted Miguel Cotto’s punches well and he did fight a good gameplan. Remove the fanboyism from future videos or people won’t appreciate your work like you may intend them to.

Here's another image.
