With Andre Ward slated to make his highly anticipated return to the ring on June 20, 2015 part of Jay-Z's Throne Boxing on a TBA network the names I've been hearing as potential foes for Andre Ward are Marco Antonio Periban and Ricardo Mayorga all due respect Ricardo Mayorga is way past his prime this is not 2003 and if you watched James DeGale v Marco Antonio Periban recently he shouldn't even be taken into consideration. If I were to promoted a good Throne Boxing card and give Andre Ward the tune fight he needs in preparation for high profile fights the name I would go with would be Thomas "Tommy Gunn" Oosthuizen who has appeared on HBO he had that controversial prospect contest with Brandon Gonzalez back in June of 2013. Most important he is an undefeated fighter who has never been stopped and he is also promoted by Lou DiBella of DiBella Entertainment what you all think of this potential match up? Who wins this fight? Somebody should be reaching out to Jay Z and persuade him to promote this match.

What are the chances that Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes an appearance at the ShoBox card on December 12, 2014? This will be a special edition of Shobox Friday night December 12, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the Illusions Theater. Keep in mind this is just going to be a Mayweather Promotions Money Team boxing event it will not be promoted by Golden Boy in the main event we will see Erislandy Lara vs. Ishe Smith who is also a Money Team fighter, the co-feature will be Christoper Pearson vs. Steven Martinez, there will be more fights added to the card soon. Miguel Angel Cotto was actually present at the HBO Latino card this past November 15, 2014 some of Cotto's fighters fought on the untelevised portion of the undercard. With Floyd only going to fight two more times under the Showtime contract, wouldn't he try to attend his Mayweather Promotions card that he is promoting for the Texas boxing fans wouldn't it be great to see him in person?

I was really bummed out when I read the article about Mike Perez pulling out of his much anticipated WBC title eliminator with Bryant "Bye Bye" Jennings this was going to be taking place on HBO B.A.D.D. on May 24, 2014 and it was going to feature a very good undercard Daniel "The Real" Geale vs. Matthew Macklin and also, Edwin Rodriguez vs Marcus Johnson and a top Welterweight prospect Dusty Harrison-Hernandez was going to be featured on that card. With Mike Perez pulling out that prompted the promoters to move forward and cancel the entire card because there was just no way they could find a top ten heavyweight boxer to take the fight on two weeks notice. I read an article about Matthew Macklin's "conspiracy theory" saying that he found it fishy that 24 hours after Mike Perez shoulder injury, there is already talks about GGG Gennady Golovkin facing Geale on July 26th on HBO and the prospected venue is in New York. My question is will this card have any chance of being back on at a later date later this year or will the card be entirely canceled? This is a great arena where last November we had that HBO Triple Main Event featuring Donaire, Garica and also Demetrius Andrade that event was promoted by Top Rank Inc.

Okay so we got some good matches that are relevant to stay in contention for this particular WBO Jr. Middleweight title. First, we got Brian Rose vs. Javier Francisco Maciel this is a WBO Jr. Middleweight title eliminator. Now also, in addition to that bout there has been talks about setting up a rematch between Cornelius Bundrage and former WBO Jr. Middleweight titlist Zaurbek Baysangurov although no date has been set yet, there is something in the works for later this year. Zaurbek Baysangurov's promoted by K2 and he did lose to Cornelius Bundrage back in 2008. Finally, we got Vanes Martirosyan taking on Demetrius Andrade for the vacant WBO Jr. Middleweight title on HBO. How do you see these fights going? This will be three fights shown live on HBO first, Vanes Martirosyan vs. Demetrius Andrade for the vacant WBO Junior Middleweight title the title was vacated after the former WBO champion Zaurbek Baysangurov suffered a back injury. Second, Miguel Angel Garcia Mike Garcia will take on Roman Martinez for the WBO Super Featherweight Championship. They are still working on the purse bid for that fight to be finalize you can't count on Top Rank to get the fight signed, sealed and delivered third, "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire will take on Vic Darchinyan in a rematch of their 2007 fight. I was in attendance there at the American Bank Center back in February of 2012 and it was a privilege to see Paul "The Punisher" Williams last boxing fight with Nobuhiro Ishida also, Tavoris Cloud fought Gabriel Campillo in a controversial bout, that venue is great, it has a very nice atmosphere and is perfect to feature this Top Rank Boxing card. Does anyone know when tickets will go on sale for the WBC/WBA Jr. Middleweight Championship Unification title match on April 20th? I know that the event will be taking place in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamo Dome locally in my area however, Golden Boy Promotions hasn't released any details with regards to ticket pricing, that general on sale date etc. The event will be held locally in my area I will hopefully be attending this event and wanted to get some great seats for the fight. I know that Showtime will be televising the event and also, Omar Figuerora will fight on the undercard aswell. If anybody knows any info if you can please respond to this thread.
