Any boxing fans from Texas? I got some news on next major Top Rank Boxing card.

HBO World Championship Boxing Saturday Night November 16, 2013 American Bank Center Corpus Christi, Tx WBO Junior Middleweight Championship (vacant) Vanes Martirosyan vs. Demetrius Andrade WBO Super Featherweight Champion (current) Roman Martinez (c) vs. Miguel Angel "Mike" Garcia Super Bantamweights 12 Rounds "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire vs. Vic Darchinyan II Plus, some other good undercard untelevised fights as well. Top Rank President, Todd DuBoef is putting together an excellent night of boxing action that will be televised on HBO World Championship Boxing. This will be three fights shown live on HBO first, Vanes Martirosyan vs. Demetrius Andrade for the vacant WBO Junior Middleweight title the title was vacated after the former WBO champion Zaurbek Baysangurov suffered a back injury. Second, Miguel Angel Garcia Mike Garcia will take on Roman Martinez for the WBO Super Featherweight Championship. They are still working on the purse bid for that fight to be finalize you can't count on Top Rank to get the fight signed, sealed and delivered third, "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire will take on Vic Darchinyan in a rematch of their 2007 fight. I was in attendance there at the American Bank Center back in February of 2012 and it was a privilege to see Paul "The Punisher" Williams last boxing fight with Nobuhiro Ishida also, Tavoris Cloud fought Gabriel Campillo in a controversial bout, that venue is great, it has a very nice atmosphere and is perfect to feature this Top Rank Boxing card. Will anybody that's part of the forum be making plans to attend this Top Rank boxing card on November 16, 2013 later this Fall?

I heard about this as well had been waiting for it to be officially announced. Another thing I would like to address. Boxrec.com had the date originally scheduled for November 17, 2013. Today I recently did check for any updates and it has been moved forward to 11/9/13 and I went online to check if Ticketmaster had listed any events for that date at the American Bank Center and it shows that the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders Womens Basketball team has games scheduled for every Saturday for the entire month of Nov. So, my question is that is there any truth behind the article that ESPN released recently about the Top Rank Boxing event that will scheduled for the American Bank Center arena? i'll be on TDY in Cali a few days before this. Was thinking about taking some leave and catching a flight down to watch this fight.

Interesting side note the newly crowned IBF Super Featherweight Champion Argenis Mendez says that he's willing to take that fight with Mike Garcia providing Top Rank can't make that fight happen with Roman Martinez. I would still be interested in seeing the fight happen either opponent vs. Mike Garcia would be great to watch.
