Ive noticed every fighter thats trained with buddy mcgirt has lost with him as thier trainer! Not enough attention is brought to this subject, I mean here are just a few that fell victim to Dirt MCgirt:Brewster, forrest, tarver, gatti, chambers, banks(lets not forget the brutal knockout loss to miranda), Harrison and magic man. These again are just a few and theres no way someone could say that it just happens to be a coincidence that all his known fighters loose with him as trainer.

I now understand why lots of people dont like or think boxing is boring! In all seariousness im a boxer and I have been watching for a while and just look at these several months and how many things have gone wrong or robberies and early stoppages and other bs has happend! This Shit is driving people away from boxing! preety soon we will have no fans of this sport if this keeps up! I had 5 friends over to watch the katsidis-gaysmayor fight and I had to APOLOGIZE to my friends over this BS fight! Lets not even mention the vera-lee fight and the marquez-pacman fight. But the marquez-pacman fight could of went either way but this stuff is getting out of hand! This type of stuff wouldnt happen in team sports and if it did it would be really really rare! Please share your thoughts on this and dont think im a boxing hater, Im a huge fan and a boxer myself and this is how im viewing this!

who do you think is your favorite trainer and who do you think is a bad trainer? I personally think teddy atlas has to be the best in my opinion after reading his book and doing a project about him in school. I think buddy mcgirt is the worst trainer! almost every fighter he trains either lost before or got whooped while he was the trainer example: antonio tarver, ishe smith, lamon brewster, gatti, david banks, sherman williams and going on

Will Boxing Headgear Become History? Will amateur boxers no longer wear headgear in the ring? The AP reported on Thursday that the International Boxing Association (AIBA) is giving thought to taking away headgear, once the symbol of amateur boxing, from boxers. A reform committee of the AIBA recently proposed this and it is currently under review. At the same time, the AIBA is also deliberating on extending rounds from the current two minutes and four rounds to three minutes and three rounds to make amateur boxing more intense. If the proposals are approved by the committee, changes will be applied as soon as August to some games, but not for this year’s World Boxing Championships and the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The AIBA is also set to change the current electronic scoring system after the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Currently, scores are tallied up when three out of five judges simultaneously press score buttons. With the changes, each judge will mark separate scores and the final score will be added up after excluding the highest and lowest scores.
