He's obviously more deserving of a big fight like that than either guerrero or alvarez. If Floyd fights him at 154 thats another championship and also some credit for moving up to face a world champ. I don't really buy that Cotto is damaged goods either. He's obviously past his prime but his only losses are to a cheater and one of the best fighters of this era. No shame in that. His opposition since pac hasn't been top notch, but if that's the case we would expect him to stop or knock those guys out...and he did. A floyd victory over cotto means more than one over guerrero or alvarez in my opinion

Never been to a fight and thinking of going to Cotto-Margarito II. Anyone ever been to a fight at MSG, particulary sat in the 200's? What's the view like?

I hope a Berto rematch and a Maidana rematch are in his future win or lose, also a fight with Rios if Brandon eventually comes up to 147

He just fought a few weeks ago so he should be in pretty good shape. No one wants to take a fight on real short notice like this but when the reward is worth the risk it can make sense, while thats not the case for Bradley it might be the case for Peterson. A win over Maidana after his win over Cayo would be a big step forward. and if he loses, well he took on a guy in the top 5 at 140 who puts on ridiculous pressure on 1 weeks notice, it wont kill his career, especially if he puts up a tough fight thoughts?
