ID GO FOR HATTON ON POINTS. I DONT THINK MAYWEATHER HAS MET ANYONE AS STRONG AS HATTON SO FAR, I THINK HE'S UNDERESTIMATING HATTON, HATTON WILL TAKE THE FIGHT TO HIM AND SURPRISE HIM.

Yes it does say it all...like I said to begin with....:owned:
well exactly then! Benn wasnt the same boxer after he fought Mclellan, that fight broke him, mclellan hurt Benn its just that Benn hurt him a hell of a lot more. Benn lost interest after that fight, his heart wasnt in it anymore. you telling me that putting a fellow boxer in a coma and paralysing him does'nt have an affect, they're not robots. Benn's now become a born again christian and pissed of to live in spain. that fight fucked him up.

Calzaghe was sharp on those nights, and he meant it
no matter how sharp he is iv never seen him fight with the power and menace that Benn fought with or to his standard. Im not saying calzaghe's shit he can obviously box, but he's nowhere near as good as people make him out to be.
http://yoursportsview.com
Benn is not known in the states im very surprised at that. Just watch Benn vs McClellan most brutal fight iv ever seen. I dont think they'd let that happen these days, they absolutely killed each other.
http://yoursportsview.com
Exactly and if Benn was still in his heyday he'd take on calzaghe no questions, frank warren would probably still keep him wrapped up in cotton wool though, trying to protect his record. what a joke.
You wanna take care of Benn and Eubank both in their days?? We don't need Joe for that, just bring on Steve Collins :owned:
Benns last 2 fights at the end of a brutal career were against collins, that says it all!
http://yoursportsview.com
yeah, Benn came out therr crazy he could've lost. fought on the edge. I actually think there's a large part of him which was crazy, like properly
true but that was Benn, as soon as the bell goes its like he's let of a leash, that was his style he wanted to finish it quickly and it was exciting to watch. you can't fault his grit and enthusiasm though, especially against mcclellan.
im reading thru some threads
and i see random people say "calzaghe would tko hopkins"
and "hopkins cant handle calzaghe's speed"
wtf has calzaghe done to convince yall that he would stand a chance against b-hop??
cal has fought mostly bums his whole career and now all the sudden he can ko hopkins?
explain
well said! the hopkins (of a few years ago) would've destroyed calzaghe. he'd probably still beat him now. calzaghe has built his career on fighting nobodies (exception of eubank who was at the very end of his career after some hard fights). He's trying to retire unbeaten thats why he's never taken on the best, EUBANK (in his prime), BENN,JONES,TAYLOR,HOPKINS and he doesnt even come close to greats like LEONARD,HAGLER,DURAN AND HEARNS. He's just an average boxer fighting less than average opponents.

well sugar rays had too many knocks to the head then and as for Benn he would say that, he was a decent bloke he let his fists do the talking, he were'nt one to shout his mouth off too often. im not saying calzaghe would'nt have fitted in but im 100% certain he would'nt be undefeated.
http://yoursportsview.com
i watched a lot of Benns fights and iv watched quite a few of Calzaghe's and believe me they're miles apart. every punch Benn threw, was a KO punch calzaghe punches with the inside of his wrists, thats why he keeps busting them.
http://yoursportsview.com
I agree it will be a great fight if it ever happens and im not discrediting mayweather and his achievements, he is one of the best around. its too close to call but i think hatton will be a good test for him. also im not putting DLH down, but i dont think he was a real test for mayweather, back in his day YES i think DLH would have been to good for mayweather, but not at 34.
http://yoursportsview.com
calzaghe the slapper has never had a great victory, in his time he's avoided all the top boxers and frank warren has carefully picked his opponents for him. he'll never be the all-time great he thinks he is because he hasnt fought anybody of that callibre, he's just a joke!
http://yoursportsview.com
This prick is without doubt the worst poster i've ever seen. I personally had the fight by 1 round to Collazo but it was a close fight you wankstain, it could have gone either way.
well said this geeza's a loser he has'nt got a clue
http://yoursportsview.com
lmao ok if u say so
he's right you really can't have seen him fight, hatton's always on his toes maybe not as much as floyd, but he's usually running away from opponents instead of into them like hatton. ricky's a true brawler
http://yoursportsview.com
exactly. im british and if an american boxer is good then ill come out and say that, id even support them against a british fighter if i liked them more. example- anyone against calzaghe! but hatton is the best in britain at the moment and he's a match for the american boxers, why dont people just accept it.
http://yoursportsview.com
he was talking about a comeback until he got jailed for 15months for dangerous driving, i dont think we'll see him in the ring again. He's well over weight he'd probably have to fight at middleweight he's got so fat.
http://yoursportsview.com
i've never heard anyone say hatton won who wasn't from britain, besides the judges/hbo fanboys who just signed hatton to a big contract on hbo. you expect them to say he lost and lose all that marketability? face the facts he lost.
why you all so down on hatton, is it because he's the only brit that can give the american's a run for their money. just face it hatton and mayweather are the best in the division and we'll soon find out who's the best of the best.
