I like when Kellerman asked if they will take it slow in the early rounds and they smiled at each other.
I think they were looking at each other thinking, "This guy doesn't know shit about boxing..."
Pacquiao put him on his back 3 times weighing 125lb.
I'm pretty sure Naz was a much bigger puncher than Pacquiao at ~126lbs. Not to say that prince would win indefinitely... just something to consider.
I think its weird that Marquez fans always hype up the Pacquiao loss.
They never talk about Marquez's other losses against Chris John and the two other guys. He's not invincible and has been beat before.... and probably will be beat again.
Leads me to believe that its something about Manny Pacquiao or his continuing success that leads Marquez fans to dislike him... i dunno. If there is a third fight I hope there's a KO and a clear winner, otherwise people will continue bickering.
JMM's first loss was a DQ, and I dont' know the circumstances surrounding it. His other losses are all (according to rumor) debatable. I actually haven't been able to see the Marquez/Chris John fight, but I've heard Marquez wasn't pulling the trigger but still squeezed out a win and that John was given a gift. Again, haven't seen that one.
I'm a big Marquez fan, but don't dislike Manny at all. Why the hell should I?
So according to Marquez fans Chris John was given a gift and Pacquiao was given a gift. What is all the shit surrounding the Pacquiao fight?
If anything JMM fans should be pissed off about the chris john fight as that was about a big a robbery as you can pull. Stevie wonder can see JMM won that fight. But somehow pacquiao who actually put a DAMN good battle against JMM gets constant criticism not only from the forumgoers but also a lot of other people in the boxing world.
For example in the Mayweather Marquez press conference, about 3 different people said that Marquez beat Pacquiao twice... why?
Marquez barely speaks english... whats the use of trash talking a guy who doesn't understand what you're saying. :dunno:
Edit: nvm somebody already made this point... :baby:
Floyd's speech is starting to remind me of someone......
"Its nothing personal.... I'm just doing my job.... to give the fans a good fight"
Can't quite put my finger on it though....
He'll stay at #2. Needs to beat pacquiao to be #1.
He said himself in ring magazine, something to the effect of, 'I won't consider myself the best until I beat pacquiao'
manny doesnt seem very interested
I think he's been asked those questions so many times that he's getting tired of them. Also he's back in his country and he's more interested in whats going on outside the window as opposed to what the pasty boring white man sitting next to him is talking about.
Still really humble and admirable individual.
