put it this way, a prime motivated ingle trained naz knocks **** out of marquez, he's hardly hard to hit, wouldnt last 6. no one in the feathers knocks out naz.
nope... putting it that way doesn't work either.
jmm will always put the smack down on nas.
Marquez was also a big puncher himself at FW he could KO Naseem...his chin wasnt that great and has been dropped by lesser opponents
Never hurt though. Naz was always off balance.
Naz is my fav fighter but JMM would beat him if he fought a disciplined fight and counterpunched. If it was the more aggressive JMM we've seen lately, he gets laid out.
This fight aint going to the scorecards if naseem actually trained and put his best fooot forward(which def wouldn't have happened), he would've stopped marquez. If he doesn't train well then He loses a lopsided decision to marquez.
Would be a great fight. JMM wins 12 rounds but nas has the power to knock him on his ass. If JMM plays smart and sticks to defense then he wins. If he starts trading its lights out
Too close to call because JMM matured with age, He wasnt refined like he is now back then but he would have still be capable of beating Naz then, Naz by then was on his way down due to indiscipline, He didnt train and only relies on his power.

Here speaks a man who has never seen the fight just read about them.
Every single one of Naz's KD's where balance issues you muppet, not because the guy hitting him hurt him.
Go watch the Kelley fight, that alone counts for fully half Naz's KD's and he sure as hell wasn't hurt by anything kelley hit him with, he was up before the ref started counting both times.

Naseem would get smacked around every time he tried those stupid things he did. His power gives the chance of a KO since Marquez goes down against power punchers, but his technical skills would not be good enough to beat Marquez.
JMM should have been able to easily outpoint Nas, but I would always have given Nas a punchers chance against any FW,

Marquez was Naseem mandatory for over 2 years and naseem didnt want to fight him cuz he wanted bigger fights....instead of marquez he fought more bums until he got his ass whooped by barrera
Naz in his prime could of easily got a UD... But in his prime he also could of easily KOed any feather weight in his era, not saying he was shot again barrera but his new training camp and lack of training didn;t help!
prime vs prime JMM wins.
prime Hamed vs green JMM back then = JMM lying looking at the lights when Hamed decides he is.
This is the JMM that lost his No1 slot losing to Norwood remember.
TBF he should of got the decision against Norwood imo.

If JMM could survive the early rounds, and start timing and adjusting to Naz, then yes, he could UD him. But if he were to trade with Naz or get caught, it's light out.
Hamed would have had a great chance of knocking JMM out IMO. JMM would only beat Hamed by a decision but im not sure if he can last against a big puncher like Hamed for 12 rounds.
