It may not be the greatest KO of all time, but I'd say one of them
that belongs on the all-time highlight reel was Julian Jackson's knockout
of Herol Graham.
Graham got careless and Jackson lands a right hook that
short-circuits Herol's brain, rendering him unconscious on the canvas.
what the hell is your problem? it's not about the belts. Zab was the champ and Baldomir beat him. Baldomir is the recognized Undisputed Welterweight champion. you're biased as hell, man.
Says the person with Baldomir in his avatar.
JMM and REALLY STUPID Beristain wanted ridiculous money that was beyond the budget for that fight. JMM's management started out with a figure that was laughable and made it hard for those negotiating to take them seriously with how ridiculous it was. They did not want even money, they wanted more money and ended up settling for WAAAAAY less. Still hard to understand. Nobody can be that stupid but I guess Beristain was.
I agree that Barrera needs to rebuild his confidence, but the amount of time it is taking is letting everybody know that his confidence was completely destroyed by pacquiao in their fight. If Barrera ever faces Pacquiao again, only time can tell.
Nacho Beristain is a world-class trainer. Nothing stupid about that.
He's just a terrible manager.
Simon was found guilty of culpable homicide last year and
as of now, he is appealing the case.
He most likely will be heading to jail for a 4 year sentence
should be the appeal fail.
Two years were cut automatically, so it would be a 2 year imprisonment.
(Don't ask me about the punishment, this is Namibian law.)
Malignaggi has brittle hands, has no power (21-0 but just 5 KOs),
and reminds me of an Italian version of Paul Spadafora, except
with limited skill.
Just look at his nickname (other than the one he stole from Tarver).
"The Dead-End Kid" <---- Fits him to a T
I saw the Hatton-Tszyu fight. The Brit did a good "mini-Ruiz" impression for 11 rounds. I wasn't surprised the ref let him get
away with the rough-house tactics in his hometown; Jay Nady would
have DQ'd him if he tried it in America.
Sharmba Mitchell said it best regarding the bout: "It was a good, dirty fight."
Man, me myself a big Morales fan lost thousands of pesos in bet, and suffered a deluged of hate emails from my countrymen who thought I committed treason, concedes now the dude was over the hill. I thought then his Raheem campaign was just on style where the latter act like an Olympic sprinter. The poor boy even complained the physical strain was on the 135 lbs (Lightweight).
A Filipino who bet on Morales to win against Pacquiao?
That's akin to a fat person going on a hunger strike.
