He was definitely running towards the end of the fight. But AA didn't give him a chance to run being a literal punching bag the first couple or so rounds.
The fight was getting real interesting until the DQ, Dirrell could have very well been KTFO if it had continued
Against Diego Corrales he dominated. That was a big win for him.
Im getting impatient waiting on a Pacquiao Mayweather fight hehe
That was a big win back then. But you got to realize how "good" Corrales really is. I never really considered him elite.
There are always those that hate the best.
I've always hated Jordan when he was playing. But now i've come to like his abilities and respect his greatness.
I wouldn't be suprised if this happened because of two things:
Malinaggi took every body shot cotto had and wasn't dropped at 147 (cottos optimum weight). He got dropped by a headshot though.
Khan dropped malinaggi with a hook to the body BUT khan pulled on his neck so the ref thought it wasn't. This was at malinaggis optimum weight of 140 as well so.... I wouldn't count it out.
Cotto and Malignaggi fought at 140 not 147. Malignaggi was beat up badly that fight, so getting knocked down or not didn't matter.
Floyd fought Mosley this year. Pacquiao fought Clottey. So obviously Floyd should have won.
At least Floyd has something considering he has no other chance to claim FOTD.
Donaire is faster than him, feet, hands, and reflexes. And nobody's faster than Donaire at 118 either.
This has yet to be seen. Donaire never fought anyone his size with decent speed, which by default makes Donaire look quick by comparison.
I actually see Donaire beating Montiel, but losing to Hasegawa.
So Baldomir was smaller then Floyd? baldomir was the champ knocking dudes out. While Margarito was ducking the champ and trying to get a fight with Floyd for 8 million, Floyd went for the champ, his belt, and 12 million. You do the math. Margarito couldnt even defend his title against Paul Williams...haha dude is weak thats why he needed bricks.
But right Floyd fights smaller men at heavier weights, and Pac fights the same smaller men at LOWER weights and magically they become the biggest *****s on earth...lol..what makes em small? height or weight? what we talking a inch, and two pounds??
Tyson was 5'10 weighing 200 knocking dudes out 6'6 250 to 270...thats beating bigger men.
Floyd is only 5'7, him and Manny are the same size...One breath they say floyd is fighting smaller men, and in the next breath they say he should fight Paul Williams who is 6'3' and should be fighting middle weight. Every opponent at WW is smaller then him but do we hear complaints from u nut huggers?? Not at all....Floyd just beat the WW champ Shane Mosley who is 5'10 and naturally a bigger man...and people are still saying he fights smaller men??? give me a break *****...
You must be the most uninformed person on the net.
Mayweather is 5'8, and a way larger wing span than Manny. Hardly anyone Manny's size is fighting at WW. Most are at Featherweight.
Also Tyson is 5'11 1/2, weighing 215-225 for his fights.
Mosley is 5'8 - 5'9.
